FREE photobook from snapfish.com

Thank you, thank you, thank you! :worship:

I just made an amazing book for my sister's birthday with her son's college graduation in May, her daughter's high school graduation in June and their joint graduation party! I had never made one before and it was really very user friendly I thought!

I was so happy when I saw this and went and ordered my free book today and when I checked my bank account later on, I was charged twice for the book and there are 3 other $1 charges!! I am NOT happy about this and hopefully it will be taken care of soon. So watch out.

Do you need to check all the way out before it takes the 29.99 off?

Sorry to hear that.

I've used Snapfish before and had the same thing happen.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to make this book also, and also can't reach a customer service person, either.

I have a feeling Snapfish may be *losing* more customers than gaining them!:rotfl:

Also, I agree with whoever said its cheaper going to CVS than paying for shipping. Which is exactly what I'm on my way to do!!!

I really should have watched Oprah yesterday, I am struggling to declutter my home. :goodvibes I do think I will have to make some of these in the future to preserve the kids artwork while not keeping it lying around my house forever. I think my mother kept everything I ever made (well almost everything) and while it was a nice feeling to know that she cared so much, it was also a royal pain to sort through all the crap after she passed away.

Me too, including getting back all the stuff my mom had kept of mine, when she died.

The $1 charges will almost absolutely drop off on their own. They are a way of checking your account to see if it's real, and they will go away soon.

But charging twice makes me think you refreshed or didn't think it was going through and clicked again, which makes me think you might get two books? Or that your bank/credit card account is just sensitive and shows *everything* and that too might well drop off on its own.

OP, thank you for posting!!!!! Now I just have to think of a theme.

i am making a slide show for my hubby for his 40th bday party, pics of his whole life and i am gonna put these pics in a book for him to have as a keep sake. i think he will like this

his party is gonna be so fun it is 70's theme everyone has to dress for the occation.

there are 20 pages but you can buy more pages to go in your book. not sure how much they cost though

Nope - I just hit it once and I know that, because it took forever to the page to load and then I got the confirmation email right afterwards. I didnt get emails and my account only shows that I ordered one. Hopefully they can fix this. I emailed them and it said I should have an answer by tomorrow.

Did they ever take care of it and refund your money?

I had a lot of trouble with the site last night. It would show one page of photos but not another. Some pages had the text I had written, others did not. Got up early this morning, made the book again and it is perfect!!

Mine has photos of our pets in it. We just found out our dog has cancer and I thought it would be good to have a photo album with her in it.

Thanks OP!!

These books are MUCH nicer than the CVS ones (I have done both in the past...) so the $7.51 in shipping was a deal!!! And, also, you can't get this size at CVS for less than that!!! The CVS ones are stapled together and don't last long.

The best quality one I have made was through Creative Memories...I make those for the special occasions as they are more expensive than Snapfish for the hardcovers. I am a consultant though, so the discount helps make up the difference! :cool1:

The book did take a while to load some of the pages, but then it snapped out of it and was fine the rest of the time I was working on it!!

Thanks again to the OP!

Thank you! I never made a book from our last vacation! Now I can!

I decided to do a book on the trip I took to WDW with my bestest best friend last September.

I'm so glad I did!

That was pre-marriage, pre-buying a house and pre-pregnancy and I LOVED going through those pictures again recalling just how great of a time we had. I just called her and told her I can't wait to go back with her and my kid! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Thanks so much for posting this, OP!

Thanks to the OP for posting this link!

I made a book for my grandparents featuring their great grandchildren at my grandfather's 95th birthday party this summer. A great Christmas gift for the couple that has everything!

I too had problems getting the credit, but when I logged out, and then followed the link, i got the credit. whoo hoo!

It was also slow for me. But, worth the wait. They will be very happy with this book. $7.51 later, one gift down.. many more to go.

Geez, i am trying to make mine, but it is loading so sloooow.. ugh..
