How do I know who to swap with?

Oh, my...questions already? I don't know about this...

Just kidding! On the front page of this thread, there's a list of all our swappers & their dates. Find yours, the look right above & below you, and send PM's to those people w/ your info & ask for theirs. You'll give them your real name, confirmation #, cell #, check in/out dates, and whether you're at FQ or Riverside. When it gets a bit closer, the month will fill up...it's a bit empty now for 2011. If your dates overlap, you can arrange a face-to-face swap. That's always good cause it keeps the box out of luggage services! If not, you make a label w/ their info on it & tape it to the box so they can pick it up when they get there. Pretty simple!

We didn't use much out of the box, but it was great to have. I think we used a couple bandaids and a bowl and a box of cereal.

I put in some glowsticks. Hope someone can use them!

I would love to ADD a few items to the box when I go next year - May 29 - Jun 9 2011. I would not even need to have the box, just know who has it so I could add some goodies that I have and could bring with me to Disney.

I will be staying in POFQ and will gladly give contact info to anyone who has the box while I am there.

Well, after a long absence, I logged back on to find the usual great info! This will be our first time going to WDW!!!! :-D We went to Disneyland back in 2007 when I was expecting my 2nd baby. Well he arrived and it's been a zoo ever since! We are going with my sister and her family - who travel VERY differently from how we travel. I am super anal/planner and they sleep until noon and like to lounge, so it will be interesting to see how we mesh. We'll probably split up a lot!

Found this thread while trying to find info on our resort and thought what a great idea! As always, this board is so awesome!

We had a great Vacation.. Put lots of glowsticks in the Box. It rained our first day, so we didn"t need them all. Added some more toothpaste and a few other things.

We didnt use alot of stuff out of the box, but it sure was nice to know all those bandaids were there if we needed them.

Can't wait to go back..hope when we decide to do this again the box will still be around. Not sure when we will, Hubby says we are doing Alaska next year, so we will see.

Nandid...the boys LOVED the glowstix!!! We went to MNSSHP on Tuesday so they wore some then. They loved looking in the box, I think they were more excited than I was

It was alittle tough to track down...first I called Bell Service at POFQ and they said they didnt have, so I call over to Bell Service at Riverside...same they didnt have it..so I went down to Bell Service and Luggage Storage at POFQ they looked and even called Riverside, nothing...
So we left and went out for the day, the next morning I called both places again, nothing. We then went to Riverside to fish and have lunch and stopped and bell service, again nothing...THEN I finally got a gal in Luggage Storage who made it her mission to find the box! About three hours later bell service called me and said they had a box for me!!!

I have no idea where it was in all it's moving around but they all swore "it wasnt there the first 10 times they looked"

I also gave it to Bell Services since we woke up about 4am on check out day with a sick kiddio so I hope prncesKMW can find it

Thats funny... I marched it down to Bell servies at Riverside put your name on it and told them it was to go over to the French quarter and they assured me it would be there.. Even watched them put it on a cart an away it went.

Somehow it managed to get lost lol. Maybe they had to look inside and see what goodies we had stashed. LOL. I'm glad you finally found the box.



We went to the first MNSSHP and my kids had such a blast and ended up buying light up everything so we never used most of out glowsticks.

Had the box on our trip from 9/24 - 10/2. The next box person, Dana, arrived, only to find out that she had been upgraded - to Grand Floridian! I don't know how that happened, but I wish it had happened to me!

For the next person, Mary - I have left the box for you. It is under your name in long term luggage storage. Please tell them "long term luggage storage" exactly - they will not find it otherwise. When I picked it up, I went to the front desk 3 times and asked for it, and then finally went back with a cast member. DBF began walking around the luggage storage area looking at things while I was semi-arguing with the CM, and low and behold there it was

For those of you about to head down, there is enough laundry detergent to do about 2 - 3 loads, some detergent to rinse out your resort mug, ponchos, hand sanitizer, some bowls for cereal, etc... We almost used the ponchos, but got lucky

It was quiet the surprise to arrive at POFQ and be offered a complimentary upgrade to the Grand Floridian!!!
It was a shame not to be able to participate in the swap... I'll have try again on another trip.
