Free parking before resort check in?

We are driving from Tampa to Disney on Saturday and go directly to Epcot for rope drop, then leave midday and check into Port Orleans Riverside. Is there a way for us to take advantage of the free parking at the parks that comes with our resort stay even if we haven't yet checked in? Thanks!

You'll have to pay that morning but keep your receipt. You can get reimbursed when you check in.

If I were you, I would just leave Tampa a bit earlier and check in before going to Epcot.

Agreed. You'll get your parking pass, and you'll avoid the longer lines in the afternoon/evening, plus they'll text you your room number when the room is ready. Then when you finish at Epcot, you can go straight to your room, using your MB for access.

They can scan your magic band and give you your free parking. We brought a copy of our reservation but didn't need it. They scanned our band and let us through.

So the answer was... Just tell him we were guests who hadn't checked in yet. He waved us right through no questions asked! Hope the same happens to anyone who needs it!
