I don't understand why this was needed!!!!!
Does it change the fact the family is grieving? No!
Is (sic) there still 2 children without a farther (sic) (sic)yes!
Why people feel the need to go this far into somebody's personal life is way beyond me.how (sic)sad you must be to feel the need to do this.

I think it is great the person did this. The original post was tacky and left out a lot of pertinent information.

We were all invited into the story; a person shouldn't be vilified for accepting the invitation.

It's necessary because there have been far too many on this forum who have used sob stories to gain donations for their scams. It has made many skeptical and this poster likely just wanted to vet the story. I don't blame him/her at all.

Vetting is one thing putting it on here is another!
The op didn't ask for money or for donations they asked if anyone knew where to get tickets,
I don't see how what the dad did takes away from a grevieng family!
And why it needs posting on here.I also don't see what is wrong in asking the question? They said it shouldn't be on here but where else would they ask.

I disagree. The OP painted a picture of an unwitting accident victim, and it turns out the guy was a reckless driver, a felon, and a repeat offender who ended up squandering his life and almost took someone else's.

People who were helpfully suggesting to turn to the media to fund this, obviously understand that's not an option, given the facts of the case.

I feel sorry for the wife and kids!

I agree. This story won't pull in any funds thru the media.

Hmmm...you sure are taking this personally. Perhaps you're close to the case?
