Has anyone tried to use the free mini golf vouchers the day before check in? Getting to Orlando a day early and would love to be able to do that.

They are date specific. Only valid from check in day until check out day.

Can I ask a follow-up? I haven't had a package in a long time. Do you still get the hard copy vouchers for Mini-Golf? I didn't see anything in my email confirm on on MDE? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

You still get hard-copy vouchers, just got mine a week ago. They’re part of the little folder your luggage tag and magical extras card are in on the right-hand side of the magic band box

I got the blue card in the box with magic bands.

We got the blue "Magical Extras" card too, inside a cardboard fold-up that has 4 MiniGolf and 4 ESPN tear-off vouchers. We never end up using them. Too bad we couldn't pass them on.

The card looks pretty cool even if we're not likely to need it. Maybe I can hold it up in WDW and pixie dust will magically rain around my party. That would be a magical extra.

The mini-golf vouchers OP is referencing are included with package reservations. Room-only reservations do not have it.
The Park Hopper Plus ticket (formerly WPF&M) also includes access to mini-golf, though I wouldn't call it "free" just included with the ticket.
