Free Flights on AirTran with cups at Wendy's

I'm going crazy here. My coupons were sent to Savannah Georgia in a lot of 32 and another lot of 40 (few extra in case they missed some). The lot of 32 were delivered today at noon, the other lot was forwarded to a location in Douglas Georgia zip code 31533. I contacted air tran along with both 31408 and 31533 post offices and they have no idea what's going on. Anyone have any clue?

I would ask Airtran to please make a note in your file and share the tracking info too. Hopefully they work with you.

Hi, thanks for the advice. I called Air Tran and they basically told me that they have no location in Douglas Georgia and that they are not responsible for lost mail. I have since spent a hefty amount trying to replace those coupons and have them express mailed to air tran. I paid $65 for those 40 coupons I lost and another $65 to get 40 more. *pout*

P.S. Just a note. Air Tran also told me that they would be turning away all mail as "return to sender" if it arrives after Feb 13. They guaranteed me that they would not accept 1 single piece of mail, even if it was beyond anyone's control.

And yet another note.. The Savannah post office told me today that they think my delivery confirmation number fell off of the envelope and that probably stuck to another package. The mail carrer in Douglas Georgia said he remembers a package that had a delivery confirmation number nearly falling off. They think my package was probably delivered to air tran yesterday. So there is hope!

I mailed the last of our coupons on 1/20. They were received on 1/23 but still no credits in DH's account. I see others who mailed them after us and they have their credits already!

Well I found our credits! I have been going to the account several times a day for the last almost 2 weeks. It lists no credits!

Out of sheer frustration last night I hit the "account history" button and it showed all the missing credits on 1/29! I go to convert the credits into vouchers and it says no credits! What the heck!

I call Air Tran and they had closed 15 minutes before! So I called first thing this morning and explain to them that I have been waiting and I am afraid that the flights I want are now booked but I need access to my credits. The lady hits some button and goes Okay your credits are there now. Call back when you have your voucher numbers to book the flights.

I admit I was disappointed, not even an "I'm sorry!" no doubt a "Let's see if we can't get you the flights you wanted since it was through no fault of your own the you were delayed in your booking by 2 weeks!"

I also asked for you Billie and she said that oh yeah a Billie used to work in here! Yikes I hope all is okay!

So I called back about 40 seconds later,with my voucher numbers and booked the last 4 of our flights. As I suspected all the day time flights are gone. We leave MCO at almost 9 PM and we do not get into the airport until the wee hours of the next day!

Oh well at least they were not lost and we do not have to walk back from Disney!

So if anyone else is looking for missing credits try the history button in your account and see if they are there.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that this promotion worked out perfect for me. All of the stressful times were well worth it in the end.

I just booked four RT tickets to Orlando from MSP. I had no problem getting the flights I wanted... the total cost in taxes was $20.00.

I'm glad to hear good reports from "Wendy's" flights. We're using ours for a trip to DL on Friday.

We were able to book 2 tickets the week of July 4th for my son and daughter in law to meet us at the beach in Florida. He is flying from Las Vegas to Pensacola. Cost us $20.00. If we had to buy the tickets, the cheapest we found was over $500.

Glad to hear people are actually able to book flights w/the vouchers (was worried they'd be glutted with them during peak travel times).

If they don't initially have the flights you want; be persistent & keep calling, they open up spots randomly, i.e. capacity control - blah, blah, blah LOL.

When the flights 1st came out Saturday evening, I was shot down twice before I secured what I needed a few hours later...think they just got tired of me calling.

Just got back from disney and used my wendys free trip! No problems at all and Airtran has XM raido on every fight!! it was a great trip!! Enjoy your flights!!

Thanks to a post by another Diser, I found out Airtran had just released their October flights last Saturday eve. I called first thing Sunday morning and was able to use my vouchers for 2 seats on their only daily nonstop from MSP to MCO 10/14-10/21!!!! This is a very busy travel time in Minnesota as the kids in public schools have a fall break that week.


I wouldn't have known about the promotion without this board ( Minnesota didn't participate, I bought the coupons online for $150.00) nor would I have known that the dates had been released ( I had actually checked in the AM and didn't expect the release to be until next month).

So, long story short....Thank you Airtran, but mostly THANK YOU DIS BOARDS!
