Starting today at TDS, when you make a $40 purchase, you get a free candy tote and a free flashlight (Buzz, Pooh, or Princess). Each is a $10 value, and the tote is especially cute. It is pumpkin-shaped and has classic Disney characters like Dumbo, Tinkerbell, the Cheshire Cat, and of course Mickey on it.

Got mine today!! My youngest DD is going to be Cinderella. I had seen the poster in the store for it, but didn't "plan" on buying anything! I decided to preorder Beauty and the Beast on DVD, got a Boo plush doll on sale for $9.00 and picked up her Cinderella gloves and crown and got the Halloween items!:D

Sent my DH there today to pick up Monsters Inc. and buy my DS something special for doing so in his new preschool!I did tell my DH if he spent 40.00 he would get these things.Came home-spent 63.00 and NO flashlight or candy bag!!!He got confused because they gave him the 10.00 gift card for spending more than 50.00!So I called the store to ask why he didn't receive these and apparently our local store never received the candy totes only the flashlights so they were told not to promote this!!!She asked where I had heard this and I said "on the computer!"
She offered me just the flashlight if I came back in(25minute drive) and I said what about the other 10.00 gift?
To make a long story short she is getting a hold of her district manager to see what she can offer me.She agreed that I should be offered something since I knew about the promotion! We'll see!

The offer is for TDS, but at disneystore.com you get a Pooh pumpkin carving set if you spend $50.

I was at TDS yesterday to pick up my copy of Monsters Inc. I also went ahead and bought my tickets for our upcoming trip to Disney - because TDS still has not raised their prices yet. I was disappointed to find out that my purchase of over $550 did not count towards the free candy pumpkin and flashlight. I felt jipped! I spent all that money - I wanted something free too!

Purchases of passports and art work at the Disney Store seldom allow you to put those totals towards any "freebies" that the store is promoting.

I can't believe how cute the bag and flashlight are! My DH thinks I'm nuts. I pre-ordered Beauty and the Beast, bought Frankenpooh and the new Rollie Pollie movie and ended up spending $50.

When I noticed the total, I asked if I could get a free $10 gift card and she said yes! Woo, hoo! I turned my gift card into disney dollars on the spot! I'm so happy. Thanks to Monsters Inc and Beauty and the Beast I have 20 in disney dollars for our trip in December!

My kids asked who was going to carry the flashlight and I told them it was mine! LOL!

I had added a few things to my cart on the website and the free flashlight and candy tote promotion came up, as my total was over $40.00. This was a couple of days ago, so if you are ordering online it should work. The free pumpkin kit requires a code I think, and you can't do both deals on the same order.

Enter the word "TREAT" in the coupon code boxed, It worked for me yesterday! :D

Tomorrow (Saturday) is pin day! Guess where I will be. ;)
I'll see if the freebies are still on. :)
I placed an order just thislast week through the catalog. I was surprised they were still offering the $15 gift card for orders over $65. :D
So I got another one! :bounce:
I don't know if I just happened to make it under the gun, or if that promotion is still on through the catalog.
I ended up calling my order in as I was having trouble on-line.

At our store $40 HAD to be Halloween items!! I had $60 worth of clothes and CM said no go on the free stuff. This was Buzz and Princess fleece jackets for 50% off so still a great deal!!!

I did decide to get Minnie gloves and shoes for DD (bought Minnie dress last summer while at Disney) and a light up talking Pooh for my desk at school - so I did get free tote and flashlight.

It had to be Halloween items at our Disney store also. I didn't know this until I had already spent 30 minutes picking out $80 worth of merchandise! (I have two DD's.) So, I paid $153 for two free flashlights and two free totes!

Halloween items only in the Omaha store too. No surprise, since that is 80% of the store right now anyway.

I was just there Tuesday and purchased 3 DVD's and I received the free tote and flashlight. They are both really cute!!!

I went Tuesday and it was for any purchase over $40. Got the tote and the flashlite (Buzz). Went back Friday and now it is only for any HALLOWEEN purchase over $40. Glad I got mine Tuesday.
