free flashlight and candy tote at TDS

They did decide to change it to Halloween purchases only after mid week.

Kids got their Halloween costumes today and we got the flashlights and pumpkin bag. Verrryy cute! We typically wouldn't spend this much money on costumes, but this is their first time to WDW next month, and we are going to the MNSSHP (got my tickets to that today too whoo hoo)!

My biggest fear at this point, is that THEY WILL CHANGE THEIR MINDS on what to wear for halloween.

I'll have a 3 year old little snow white princess, and a 4 year old lil cinderella princess.

I did hit the re-sale shops looking for similar princess costumes with no luck. Ebay prices are almost as much as in the store new. I did sell my Pooh and Tigger Disney costumes to resale shop, but only got $9.00 for both of them. I've never sold anything on Ebay so took what I could get.

I was at TDS yesterday to pick up my copy of Monsters Inc. I also went ahead and bought my tickets for our upcoming trip to Disney - because TDS still has not raised their prices yet. I was disappointed to find out that my purchase of over $550 did not count towards the free candy pumpkin and flashlight. I felt jipped! I spent all that money - I wanted something free too!

I bought an AP at TDS when Monsters was being pre ordered. You could get a $10 off coupon for a costume, and a $10 gift card for pre ordering Monsters and also spending $40 or more that day. I did this by buying the AP I had ordered. The lady told me that the AP didn't count towards the $40. I told her that I would not have pre ordered the Monsters DVD then. She gave it to me anyway. I ended up with the $10 coupon, $10 gift card and free lithographs. I then went last week and used the gift card and coupon on a costume and also spent over $40 and then got the free flashlight and tote too! Oh and also used my DC card! I really got a great deal! LOL!

Ithastobe, your comment gave me a good chuckle. Last year my 3-yr old DS desperately wanted to be Pooh for Halloween. We made a big deal out of going to TDS to pick out his costume.... and I spent more money on a costume than I thought I EVER would. As Halloween day approached, I convinced him to try on his Pooh costume, (he wouldn't try it on in the store), and got his hair caught in the zippered hood as I was zipping him up. OOPS! He wouldn't stop crying over it and I couldn't convince him to wear that costume for Halloween, as much as I tried. (I felt sooooo bad.)

This year he wants to be Buzz or Woody. Maybe they'll still have the flashlight offer this weekend? Does anyone know when the offer ends??

My little girl decided early on that she wanted two costumes. So she is going to be Cinderella while at the MNSSHP and Sleeping Beauty here at home. Luckily we only had to buy the Sleeping Beauty one. She has all the other gowns as we get them as they come out. Is mine the only one that likes to dress up? I think we have 10 different princess gowns and accessories, Baby Bop, pirate, witch, ballerina, and a few more. She dresses up almost daily in one of them! I'm just hoping she sticks with these for now.:D
