Free dinning plan?

Do you get the free dinning option when you rent points with dvc. Is this promotion only good through disney booked packages?

Only when you book a package through Disney that includes paying for at least a 1 day ticket and rack rate for the room. DVC stays on points are not eligible for the promo.

I think that question must be asked about two or three times a day. It would be nice if the moderators could add that at the top of the page.

I have thought the same thing the last 6 or 7 times I have seen this question posted.

Free Dining will come from any reservation service offering it. At this time, Disney itself is offering it as a package reservation incentive for some dates thru mid-December. Those renting from DVC members would also be eligible if they can find a member offering the same incentive. I'm sure it would be a popular incentive, but am not aware of any DVC members currently offering Free Dining as a rental incentive. There may be some out there.

Renters might want to make that a request when posting their reservation requests. If enough renting members feel pressured to compete with Disney perhaps it will happen.
