Free dining?

Does anyone know when they usually start the free dining in the late summer... My boyfriend wants to go in late August early September this year. I know they offered it in the late summer thru mid fall. We would like to take advantage of that. And how far out do they announce free dining? I heard POR was excluded from that for a few years. Thank you!

Since I'm not going this fall I haven't been keeping up, but there's a sub-forum under the resorts board here with lots of threads about discounts & possible upcoming discounts. Usually get at least a few days' advance heads up there before a discount like free dining is announced. Last year, the fall free dining offer began for trips starting 8/30. I don't recall when it was announced for booking.

It's almost always announced the beginning of May. Last year I believe both POR and POFQ were blacked out.
