Free Dining ?

I booked the bounceback with Disney last year for the Free Dining, from Oct. 1-15th. I was told we would have free dining for the 14 nights.

I had my travel agent check and see if she can get us a better price up here in Canada. When she tried to get the same dates, she couldn't get it online and so she called Disney and was told that you have to be finished on the 3rd of October.

Is this information correct? Or did she just get a miss informed CM? Or is it because it is not a bounceback offer that it must be completed by the 3rd to get Free Dining?

You got a misinformed CM, I think. We're booked for Sept 25 to Oct 4, but we originally priced out the following week before realizing it would conflict with the annual standardized testing at my kids' school, and we were able to get the discount for Oct 2 - 11.

That's what I thought.

I will call tomorrow and double/triple check. I saw other posters dates and some of them have the free dining with dates similar to mine.

I know last year we had a great deal, but now our dollar isn't doing so well. I just wanted to check and see if my travel agent could get us a better price. She has been able to get me what I wanted for the DL trip so, I'll keep my fingers crossed she can get us a better deal this time too!

You should be good, as long as you booked on or before OCT. 3 you should be able to do 14 days beyond that date. That is the way it has been the past 4 years. Great time to go the food and wine fest. will be in full swing. With free dining all of those days I would make ADR'S for every restaurant in EPCOT and Le Cellier twice. And don't miss the Hoop Dee Doo, last year we did that OOP and used the 2 TS each for a breakfast at Crystal Palace and BOMA.

We should have book ourselves the bounce back last year like we did the year before but with work cut to 36 hours now we will be saving up and hoping for the Free DDP next year even thought it is available now. Can't complain less hrs but not laid off and we had already done 3 years of free DDP in a row so here is to 2010 free DDP. Just that when that last week in Sept and a few days into Oct rolls around we will be thinking of the MK.
