Free Dining Watch 2009 - Dates Released!! Update post 1

We just got our Free Dining Advertisement for December. Emailed DreamsUnlimited and they got it applied to our existing reservation WOO and HOO!

The dates on the advertisement are 8/23/09-10/1/09 and 11/29/09-12/17/09

Did you get the Dec. Free Dining because you have a Disney Visa?

Over the last week or so Disney Destinations has been sending out some free dining pin codes for select dates in November and December - these are random and non-transferrable. So far, Disney Visa has not put out any code or offers for free dining in November and December.

I received this same free dining offer pin code as well. This is the third pin code in three years but the first one we are able to use. WOHOO!! Money saved. We have used the dining plan in the past and it was wonderful. I do have a Disney VISA but this was not offered through them. This came straight from Disney. We are already booked through a travel agent at Pop century. Will be adding this on tomorrow.

Based on what my travel agent informed me, the free Disney Dining Package is only thru October 3. She said that it will not be extended this year and 10-3 is when we needed to end our trip. I hope she is correct, I really wanted to travel later, but the savings now is great. We are going 9/23 thru 9/28. I guess I can make my adr's on June 23rd.......Hopefully I can get the restuarants that I want.

we booked bounceback while at disney last year, but then changed when the public offer came out because it was for later dates. We have free dining 9-27 through 10-11, we were able to stay past the last day of free dining as long as we booked the begining of our stay duirng free dining.

we were able to stay past the last day of free dining as long as we booked the begining of our stay duirng free dining.

This is true. We are arriving LATE 10/3 but, because we are starting our stay the last day of free dining, it is offered for up to 14 days after that day. We are taking advantage of that until 10/9!!!

Thank goodness...I received my pin for free dining for the end of November to mid December. This is great. I called and was able to add days and still save money with my pin code. I hope all who want it get it.

Thought I would pass on for those who received the "GOOFY" pin email................
Just got off the phone with Disney Travel as to whether the"Goofy - Big kids get little kids prices" email pin code was extended into December 2009. Evidently it has been because we (2) was able to get 11/30-12/4 at the POFQ with King Bed, 1 day tickets and DDP.

What is the deadline to book?

It's random. It's luck of the draw. I think I've registered on every Disney site known to man and I've never gotten the free dining pin. Got one from Disney Visa, but never through Disney Destinations. Some people swear that if you order a Disney Planning DVD then you will get a code. Some people have gotten them after ordering the DVD, but I have not.

Do they accept Disney Dollars to purchase beer and alcohol? For example: In WS @Epcot or... what if you are waiting for a table at a Disney restaraunt and youre at the bar? LOL Im sure it would be tacky to order a drink with Disney Dollars.

I wouldn't see why you couldn't. They're just another form of "currency" there - unless it says on the Disney Dollar itself that you can't, then you should be allowed to...

The reason I ask, I'm trying to save for my trip in September. I received Disney Dollars as a gift, also plan on buying more DD so I dont spend the money Im saving for vacation.

I dont want to go there with a hand full of Disney Dollars and not be able to spend it on things like alcohol.

Besides a few souvenirs, I wont be spending money on food, just an occasional cocktail here and there... oh and also on gratuity. hmmm. I dont suppose I can leave a tip in DDs? lol I said that to my Mom and she yelled at me..said noo you dont do that!! lol
