Free dining upgrade cost?

I scored free QS dining this morning, and I but want to upgrade to the regular dining plan (not deluxe). Any idea what that will cost me?

The difference in the cost between the two is about $23 per night per person.

Have you called and asked? I would think it's at least the difference between QS and DDP, so about $23/adult per night?

That's what I figured. I haven't called yet bc I know with the discount coming out today plus website issues, the phone lines are bonkers. I will try them tomorrow. Thanks!

It's so awesome! We just came back and had it for four of us. Loved it! So nice when the kids ask "can I have another Mickey bar?" I don't have to sit and calculate our budget. I just say "Absolutely!"

Don’t forget though that does not include tips, would’ve loved to got regular dining but that put us out of our budget if including tips

Just upgraded ours today. 4 Disney “adults” it was right around $700 for our 7 night stay.

I have a question about tipping on the free dining plan. Do you get a tab at the end of the meal so you know what you would have spent or do you need to keep track yourself? thanks for any suggestions.

We upgraded for our stay in August, it was an extra $300-ish to jump to the TS dining plan from QS for 2 adults and 2 juniors (age 12 and 10) for 4 nights. Totally worth it, I'm not usually a dining plan person but the deal was too good to pass up and we figured out how to make good use of it

Thanks so much for letting me know that we will receive a check/receipt at the end of the meal to know how much we need to tip. This info is very helpful.
