Has anyone heard about a free dining promotion for September '09? I am taking a group of my friends and would really love this promotion again.

As previous poster said, nothing will be announced until April. Those that were there during this year's promo, were again offered the bounceback while they were there.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I guess I am just being anxious.

I spoke with my travel agent, she stated that they usually go by what is offered to overseas (usually UK) travelers. Check to see what is offered to them and this will be offered to us.

She stated that she expects to have free disney dining in Sept, she has already made reservations.

This will not be offered to USA until April, but....if you get a Disney Visa, you will be offered it sooner (as history has told us)

I hope to see you in September...because I am planning to go also for free disney dining!!!!

True to a point. The Uk has already been offered it, BUT their dates are not the same as ours.We have less days of the promo than they do.I am sure it will be offered since the Uk just got their offer, and us bouncebackers are booked for next year as well.

I already made reservations for late Sep 'n the CM told me I would be eligible for the free dining when it opens.

Okay - so we want to go in September O9. Do we book now and then wait for the offer before we add our dining or get dining and then get credited when the free dining opens? We want Deluxe dining. I assume the offer is for the regular plan - will I just pay the difference? Also, I REALLY want to go to Cinderella's Dinner so I will need to book 180 days out.

Is it crowded in September or too hot? What are the best days to go? I was planning a Sunday to Sunday trip but is there a better idea?

What is bounceback?

sorry, this is all new to me....

If you can book now, I would. Just let the travel agent know that you want to change it if their is a discount. I have used some of the disount travel agents that were recommend here. They were great. or you can use AAA.

Yes it is very hot in September, but the crowds are less.

A bounce back is when you are at the parks....and I do mean at the parks, because they will not offer it to you once you have checked out. Some people received a card in their room with a great offer. Go to where they book travel (at the front desk area). And they offer you the same program for the following year. I believe that you have to leave a deposit.

Good Luck!!!!

DisneyNut5 Last year I made my reservation early in the year, somewhere around the middle of January actually. I put a deposite down for the entire package including the basic dining plan and began to make payments on my vacation. When the free dining promotion came out I called Disney reservations and was able to pay the differance for an upgrade to deluxe dining. It worked out to be cheaper than my inital pacake price to upgrade to the deluxe plan!!!

I was not offered the bounce back program though so I do not know how that works. :(

As a previous poster has said, I'd go ahead and start making reservations, either through Disney dirrectly or another travel agent. Do not pay the package off totally and when the dining codes come out you can change your reservation without a fee charged if it's before 45 days til your vacation start date.

Does anyone know if the 2009 free dining will be the CS plan or the regular plan that was offered in the past?

I know there is no way to know for certain since they haven't released it yet, but I was just wondering what package the UK and bounceback were offered.

If free dining is offered for Sept. and you book a package starting the last day of the free dining, can you use it for your intire stay?
I'm sure it's here on one of these threads.:goodvibes

Anybody have any thoughts on this? Assuming they offer free dining in the fall to the general public:

It looked like the Bounceback offer was for the regular dining plan.

It looks like the UK offer is Counter service dining if you book a value or moderate, and the Regular dining plan if you book a deluxe resort.

Is this right? If so I would imagine that we would have to book a deluxe resort to get the regular dining plan?

I'd like to comment here that before we checked out last week, the reservation system for bouncebacks was unavailable, but I was able to book after we checked out! The agent told me (while we were still there) that as long as I called by 10 pm that night, I was ok. I called later that day on the road and was able to get my ressies.

It will be the regular dining plan for the US. If you dont live in the UK dont even LOOK at their plan, its never been the same
