Booked our split stay online tonight with Pkg and Free Dining and then made another reservation for Room Only Discount for the days preceeding our pkg.

I will wait for things to calm down tomorrow and then call and have them link the reservations for a continuous stay...am I correct? Thanks!

As long as both reservations are for the exact same resort and room category you can have them linked. Linking them won't guarantee that you'll be able to stay in the same room, but it can help. Remind the CMs when you arrive for your first reservation as well.
