Free Dining Question

Hi All, we have a trip to WDW planned for November to celebrate DH 40th birthday, the last 3 trips we have done have all been over the Xmas period and we've never had DDP.

On the DIS boards there is lots of talk about PINS for free dining and waiting for it to be generally released. US DISers are clear that they can add it to their reservation if it's released so my questions are:-

1) has anyone in the UK ever received a PIN email offer?

2) if free dining is released will we be able to add it to our reservation? We booked direct with the UK Disney website which is classed as a Travel Agent.

Any thoughts/advice gratefully received!

1) we get them quite offten,we have booke with the USA site many times so that might be why,anouther tip is regeter on the USA site then your in there system.Also while there lookout for bounceback deals.they leave a leaflet in room and have free dinning on it or cheaper rooms if you book while staying before you check out.

2) no, only way would be to cancel and rebook .if you did the only way you would not lose money was to upgrade

Disney UK usually offers free dining for most of the year inc November for UK visitors - assume you booked too late to take advantage of the offer?

US free dining offers are more limited and can only be booked a few months out. We booked a us free dining offer for end of November 2009 and have had a pin a couple of times by email since then for same dates (to tempt us back) Have booked UK free dining offers since then though.

As I understand it the uk and us bookings are separate. If you want to book the US offer if any is released for November you would need to cancel your uk booking and rebook with US. Nothing to stop a uk person taking advantage of a US offer - we get best of both worlds can choose which offer suits you best.
