"Free Dining" question...

Forgive my ignorance....

I'll be at WDW from 9/15-9/19. I'm a "cast member" (in a very peripheral way), and as such enjoy the various discounts on park admission, room rates, etc.

I keep seeing references to the "free dining" plan, but I'm ashamed to say that I don't know what it is? I've searched around a bit, but I haven't found a single, solid answer.

Please provide me with one or two solid answers, and then let this thread slip into the oblivion that it deserves!

Hi,
Free Dining is just what it says, when you purchased a room and passes for certain dates Aug. - Oct then you get free dining with the package.

Free dining includes

1 table service per person per night
1 counter service per person per night
1 snack per person per night

This had to be booked by June 29th I believe.

I think the deal was the last week in August through the first week in October.

It was not offered in conjunction with other (i.e., castmember or ap) discounts...
