Free Dining Question ...

I asked about free dining before and was directed to the Disney Dining Plan information area. I still have one question b/c I'm a bit confused over what the difference is on one thing ...

Is the Free dining plan the exact same thing as the DDP?

If so, in the DDP (the one you pay for), it states that you get an appetizer w/your meal. Is this true of the free dining, too!? And, w/the DDP (the one you pay for), it states that gratuity is included. Is this true about the free dining, too?

Sorry to sound so uneducated ... but I didn't know if there were any differences between the pay-for plan and the free plan. Any info. would be most appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, free dining is DDP. You just don't have to pay for it Table service includes an appetizer and gratuity. Hope that helps!

It's exactly the same - you just don't pay the per night cost for the dining plan.
