free dining plan...

forgive me if this is in the wrong place...

Is the free dining (if it's offered) only good on August and Sept. trips? So, if I'm planning a trip in January, is free dining not an option to watch out for??

in recent years the "free dining" has been just during late august through september - they ususally run a "ticket upgrade" special in january, like adding park hopper and water parks, etc for free. i would love it if they ever did "free dining" in january oh well hope that helps?

Since 2005, Disney has been offering Free Dining during the last part of August until the end of September, give or take a few days. Never in any other time frame. It has already been offered to UK visitors for this September and to those of us who were there at WDW during Free Dining this past September for the dates of August 30 - September 27 2008 as a bounceback. The free dining for this year should be announced during the first week of April, as in previous years. The first couple of days it will only be open to Disney Visa holders and then will open up to the general public.
