I was wondering what the RDV meant as well. Mine doesn't say free dine due to upgrading from QSDP to DP.

O.K. I left a message for my TA to cancel anything she was able to book today, unless it was the same as what I got of course. She was going to book the rooms with the piddling RO discount for now, but I can't reach her. Has anyone transferred a reservation to a TA before? I want to transfer the one I just made. How does that work?
I don't know what to do with myself now.Guess I'll take a break before attacking the ADR's and finalizing those. And there is always tracking airfare, of course.

I GOT POR AB for my dates!!!!! I just called in and spoke with CM Bradford, who said, "looks like there's some Disney magic happening, I have a room for you!" I could tell he was so happy to finally give someone good news, after saying no to everyone the past couple days! He said he's only seen those rooms pop up since yesterday!
I'm soooooo excited! Yippeee!
I hope there are some more rooms out there...don't know if they were cancellation rooms or more placed out there for FD but GET ON THE PHONE MY FELLOW FAMILIES OF 5!

And there is definitely more availability if you call. Online with my dates all Mods showed sold-out but when I called the CM told me that CBR and CSR were both available. Unfortunately, still nothing at POR. But still super stoked to go!
Hi all, I've been reading this thread the last couple of days and I'd like to say thank you so much for all the info posted here, really
Aaaand, I got FD!! Calling from Spain was very confusing because for the first 6 hours the only thing I got was a busy signal but in the end I found a very nice CM and switched from AOA to POP (10/19 - 10/26).
Had to pay for a preferred room and increased price tickets but it was still really worth it.
I'm sure we will enjoy POP so much,

Anybody else on a marathon cleaning spree after 4 days of being on Dis and getting nothing done????
That lasted all of 20 minutes before he was bored, so we went school supply shopping. 
3 hours and $200 later, I've finally managed to at least clean the the kitchen. 
I could just cry ~ I mean really (a good cry). I had my heart set on fd at POFQ. I mean I have researched this resort for over a year and felt like it would be perfect for our first onsite stay. When word came that it was excluded from fd I was disappointed but decided we would probably like POR, I knew my princess loving dd would love a RGR. Well, after the disaster that was yesterday, we ended up at CSR and I was so bummed. I mean I know it's still Disney but honestly, I was crushed. I researched it all yesterday and dh and I looked at youtube videos last night and while I know it is some people's favorite, I was not happy about being there. Well, I have been stalking the reservations site since yesterday morning with no luck. Then out of the blue I refresh the screen and poof, there it is ~ a Garden View Royal Guest Room. I just about fell out of my chair. I blinked my eyes several times and checked the dates again and sure enough, it was for our dates. So, needless to say, I snatched it up and we are at POR in a RGR and I am all smiles. Keep checking if you are not where you want to be ~ something may pop up for you too

I feel like I have had a little bit of self control, I've only called 4 times today. I am getting through pretty quickly; I used an earlier suggestion to just keep presses 0 until you are transferred to a CM. The longest I have been on hold today was 5 minutes.
Not bad at all, unless we are both bad.
We used to have season passes (it's about 35 minutes from us), but we gave them up two years ago. We are not thrill ride people. I get motion sickness and it isn't safe for DH to ride coasters anymore (due to his risk of blood clots), so once the kids outgrew the kiddie area, we gave it up. Forgive the thread off topicness of this picture, but it is one of my favorite KI pics ever. This is on probably the smallest coaster ever made (great pumpkin), but the kids look like they are terrified. So funny!!!
