I had a reservation booked and couldn't get through on the phone lines AT ALL starting right at 7 am to add free dining....either a busy signal or "all circuits are busy message" so I just booked online and got exactly what I wanted, I will call back to cancel the original another day.......good luck to all

okay, I am offically nervous. I think I am going to have to switch resorts, so should I book another reservation online and cancel my current one later? According to the website, some of the rooms are no longer available. How long will it take to get the deposit back?
Been on hold sine 7:00.

That is what I did. I was too worried that by the time I got through, nothing would be available. Now I just hope they can apply what I have already paid towards my new reservation....????

My only regret is that I finally had the chance to push the option for my call was MAGICAL and the call disconnected right before the survey :-( I really wanted to give her kudos. Is there any way to do that other than the automated survey??

The same thing happened to me! I was wondering the same thing.

Between both cell and home phone I have been on hold for over an hour. Luckily it still shows POP as available for Nov 17-23. Hope that doesn't change.

Go online- I kept getting busy for 20 minutes I was not by a computer so called a friend and had her book a new reservation- we got POR garden view Oct 31-Nov 8 - and thanks Black for the reliable leak even though lots of people doubted you!

Well, the actual leak held firm.

It was the darned Visa that was never leaked, but always supposed to happen as a perk of having the card...what good was that perk this time?

Yes at the end of the survey it says to go to DRC something or another.......here it is disneysurvey dot com / drc

Need some help. I might be over thinking this a little! I have a reservation for POR RR in october already. I'm on hold to add FD but I can book with FD online right now. Do I stay on hold or book online and cancel my first reservation?

If I go and book a room only online, when is the balance due? The day of check in or is it 45 days before???

Room only is day of check in, FDing is 45 days out.

I just want to say I was on earlier looking to book for a client at POR in november. There were slim pickings as far as room types (only Royal rooms and King rooms). Now I went back in and checked again and there's a WHOLE BUNCH of rooms coming up - standard, pool view, preferred, etc.
So obviously they have or are adding rooms. Wonder if they'll be adding more rooms to dates that have come up full??

Question, I booked two new rooms since I could not get through on the phone. On my original reservation, I had already paid quite a bit more than my deposit. Once I call the cancel the first reservation, will they be able to apply what I had already paid to my new reservation?

After being on hold for 1hr and 18 min I got through, my phone was on mute and I didn't realize Tyler hung up on me I'm going to go cry

DH is at work and dialed at 4 seconds after 7 am (his work phone tells him this) and just got through... after 1 hr 17 min. He is talking to CM now and has his list of options. We've been booked for months at POFQ, and I know that's not available so we'll see what happens!

Im so glad the wait is over, I just hope my TA is on top if it. I talked to him earlier this week and said that he would send a mas email out once the discount was released, I just hope he isn't sleeping in on a day like this. I am sad though I will have to switch from my PORFQ to Coronado Springs which scares me, I have never stayed there, and I don't like big resorts.

A lot of people are doing that successfully. Just be sure to cancel ASAP.

Had to get my son off to band camp this morning, so I was a bit late trying to call. I've called 34 times and still getting a busy signal or "All circuits are busy". . .I'll be beside myself when I actually get to be on hold!!
