Thanks to meticulously reading this board and all the great info everyone shares I just added FD to our trip this Oct at the Poly!!!! Saved us at least $1300 if not more. w00t!!

Go online- I kept getting busy for 20 minutes I was not by a computer so called a friend and had her book a new reservation- we got POR garden view Oct 31-Nov 8 - and thanks Black for the reliable leak even though lots of people doubted you!

So it looks like POR is actually showing a discount of 5%, for those who may be interested. A few sites yesterday listed POR as being excluded from room discounts, and Grand Floridian excluded from Free Dining...neither of which were told to me, so I never listed those two (glad I didn't). I did find it backwards that FQ got the bigger discount and POR only got the 5%...usually FQ is always the one left at 5%.

There seemed to be a good deal of misinformation out on facebook yesterday, between some of the exclusions that weren't correct, and then some TAs who posted that the leaked dates were different...when they were dead on target. I don't know why they do that, especially since they turned right around and said they didn't know what the dates were. Well, if you don't know the dates, how could you say the leaked dates were wrong?

I hate it when things happen to cause panic...

Anyway, I hope you guys are able to get most of what you're looking for...and availability is so tight this morning. This is why I always wait and book a new reservation on the morning of a promo release, because it also offers me the opportunity to book online if needed. In this case, it was online for about 7 hours before the phones opened. How crazy is that!!!

OK, so can someone answer me this. I am outside of the 45 day window does that mean that I can book online and then call and cancel my current ressie without a cancellation fee? If so, what happens to the $200 deposit I first put down when I booked my original ressie? I was originally booked at POR but they have nothing available for my dates with fd. If I could book online then get my original deposit back, I think I would get off of hold. I've been on now for 1 hour

You can do that, I thought about it and as I was about to submit, a CM answered. They refund the $200 to original card.

As long as you're outside that 45 day window, you get a refund of your deposit. It may take a billing cycle or two to see it, although I've never had it take that long.

Someone tell me what to do! Currently booked at POR fam of 5 for 10/19-10/23. Should I stay on hold and hope FD is applied to my res or just make 2 online reservations at ASM and later call for 2 connecting rooms? I really want POR but am afraid by the time I get through I will miss FD at ASM

If I log in on the site and enter the new resort (Pop) and book that new package, will my existing package be changed, and I won't lose insurance money or will I lose that money?

I had just booked two seperate POP rooms for early october on line while waiting for the phone to pick up.

Just as I finished the second one the disney travel guy picked up. He is now connecting the two for us and going to cancel our old AoA one.

He said over 800 are in que right now.

After 55 minutes on hold, we got a CM. She keeps trying to apply FD to AoA where we were already booked. Come on, lady! She is soooo slowwwww.

Yeah! I got my dates Nov 19-Dec 2 --switched from Movies to Pop Century. On hold for about 45 min and then on the phone with the CM for another 12 min but we got free dining

I've been on hold for an hour and thirteen minutes. I think I choose the wrong number to call. This is a surprise trip so I'm hoping a CM picks up before my older dd wakes up.

I was the first caller she had that got it with no problem. I was on hold for over 1 hour. Whoa.

My only regret is that I finally had the chance to push the option for my call was MAGICAL and the call disconnected right before the survey :-( I really wanted to give her kudos. Is there any way to do that other than the automated survey??

I'm now biting my nails waiting for my confirmation email.....

Oh my gosh.....I'm like...just...wow.

I really really hope every one else gets pixie dusted today. Hang in there!!!!!! I was on hold on 3 phones and two different phone numbers.

ha, that's EXACTLY what I came up with for 6 nights at AoA for a client........$70 savings. The discount is only "up to" 15% and it looks like AoA is getting about 5%

I got a discount of 266 for aoa nemo nov 16-23

I'm in Canada and there is unfortunately. My DH made the choice for me and took my cell and hung up on there. grrr. Now I've been on hold on the house phone for only 28 mins and am so upset cause now I'm further down the line.

I have to kind of agree with your DH then.....my daughter had a friend in Canada and she had a 90.00 phone bill from calling and texting him! I didn't even know Canada was considered 'International calling' since you don't have to dial a country code or anything so I really couldn't blame her for not knowing either.

I am surprised by how little availability there is for both promotions already!!! I was playing around with dates trying to plan for next year and there is nothing at the contemporary for any October dates and the poly has no garden view or lagoon views left!!! that seems crazy!

Wonder how many CM's they called in for overtime to handle this call volume?

My CM told me they have 3x the normal amount on the days when FD comes out.
