Well I'm stuck on this thread but if those dates are correct no FD for me :( I'm booked October 6-12 with dxd

I'm not booking free dining but am hoping for everyone to get what they want tomorrow...and to not have a repeat of Monday! :headache:

I'm so bummed because I want to log on and see the excitement but instead I will be spending my morning driving up to Portland, ME for a meeting!!! I will definitely be logging on once I get back to my own office around 1 pm!

Good luck to all!!! :wizard::cheer2::wizard:

We've never used a TA for disneyworld, only cruise for additional shipboard credit. Anyone feel there was an advantage.

You can get a few bonuses and perks, although nothing major in the grand scheme if things. Free autograph books and gift cards with bookings. It seemed like she was able to get me a very slight discount too when I price a package once, although I'm not 100 % about that.

Thanks for the good vibes for us!!

I find it odd that a public discount would be made available before disney visa.

Oh I'll need two vacations before discussing that.

Maybe a topic for the podcast Dave and I could do?

Hmmm, how about different cocktails around the World? With all the talk of alcohol this week, I would love to see some of the different options! One drink I heard of is the Grand Marnier slushie in France (don't even know if that's what it's called, but it sounds delish!) LOL.

We never stayed at POR however we once stayed at POFQ-not a pleasant experience. Is there a reason why Riverside seems to be a favorite of everyone here?

I like the calm, relaxed atmosphere (especially after the huatle and bustle of the parks) and the theming. Probably among the most beautiful grounds in Disney. I love the boat ride to DTD and carriage rides around the lake too. : )

I agree, and that slushie sounds sooo good!
