First time poster, long time lurker, but not new to Disney. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the FD threads. I am hopeful but not counting on FD as we are staying at POFQ with other families, our resort is set in stone. We'll be there from 11/29 to 12/7.

I do have a question though. I usually do all of the planning but we are using a TA for this trip. Do the TA's have a separate or special number that they can call to modify reservations or do they use the same number the rest of us use? More of a curiosity than anything.

My two cents: don't change anything until everything is official from Disney. Til then everything is speculation--perhaps informed, always well-intended...but it's just a forecast until it happens...

We're booked for 5 nights at Pop, arriving Nov 11. I sent my TA an email today with our flight info (we booked it ourself) and also mentioned my backup plans in case there isn't availability at Pop. She responded to the other parts of my email, but not the free dining part.

I'm thinking of calling myself to make my own booking tomorrow in case she can't get it. I'm not sure how hard she's going to try, given her lack of response and general lack of enthusiasm.

If I do make my own booking, is it possible to transfer my ADRS over from the TA reservation (both would be under my name and address)?

Pretty sure. Anything is still possible until it is official, but that timeframe is usually blacked out for FD. Definitely wait until tomorrow to do anything, but you might want to check on your airline policies and such if moving dates is an option for you. You can always book the room discount for the current dates and then if you decide to switch, you can make the necessary arrangements.
