I am so disappointed that FD will not be offered during my stay Oct 10 thru the 13..Guess its because of Fall break??

FD is never offered for that timeframe. Yes, it is because many schools are on Fall Break. Try for the room discount, though. It should cover you. Best of luck!

We haven't booked yet but going oct 26th to nov 2nd. I change resorts like I change underwear, so not sure where we are staying! We love the BC and BWI but due to cost the last couple trips we have down graded to moderates. Kids love POR so between that and CSR. So it's going to be a coin flip tomorrow!

Oh, no way, really!!! We're going to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. Hoping once this is over I can concentrate on getting a ress for the dessert party. This will be our first time at POR. We booked back in February in a standard room with with wheelchair assesability. I'm assuming we will be in the mansions.

Ok, I am new to DISboads, but not Disney. We have been several times, but only once with FD and that was moons ago. I don't think this has been asked and sorry if it has. I tired to find my answer before I posted this but no luck finding the answer. Question is this....I am booked at AoA LM 11/18-11/23 with DxDP. When I made my ADR's I did not have to pay in full for CRT or ARBH, just a credit card to hold. What happens with these ADR's if I choose to upgrade to WL and the RO is a better savings and we drop the dinning plan and pay for our food OOP?

This trip is only me, best friend and my 5yr old God Daughter. This is their first trip and I want it be as magical as possible! We are celebrating GD's 5th birthday and I DO NOT want to loose those ADR's.

So I'm not at work today and not getting much done with all the excitement. Unfortunately, I do work tomorrow. I went through a travel agent and am glad since I can't be on the phone when they open but hate I have no control over what happens! I emailed my preference list/back up plans but wonder how many other people she has to try for before she will do mine! I will be on pins and needles until I hear from her. I will have limited access during work to checking this so can't wait to read (enviously) what everyone gets and hope it works out for me too!

I can't wait until tomorrow. We will be changing our reservation from AOA to Pop to get FD. Our check in date is October 2. So, we just made it for the last date for that time period. Woohoo!!! DOLE WHIP HERE WE COME!!!

The weather is the best during that time. I still pack a couple of pairs of jeans and bring a hooded sweatshirt just in case it gets cool at night. But for most New England folks, 60 degrees is still beach weather.

Since I watch this thread like a hawk I figure I will ask you guys instead of searching all over for it? Lazy or resourceful?

Last year was our first time at WDW and we stayed at CSR. Loved it. We want to try PORR this year but if we don't get it I'm curious if we should try CBR or go back to CSR... we have 6 people in our group so we will have to get two rooms - my husband, myself, our 2 year old daughter, my mom, my dad, and our 11 year old nephew. What do you guys think would be our best bet as a plan B? Also what is the benefit of a preferred room? We booked one last year and found we were decently close to the bus stop but still had quite a trek to the dining areas. I just wasn't sure if it was truly worth the money.

The free dining rumors are no longer rumors! Free Dining will be released tomorrow for fall dates. Although I do not have the specific dates, I can tell you that the dates that are out there right now are slightly off...meaning, since no official word has been released, no knows for sure what the exact dates are.

My fingers will be dialing fast in the morning to get all of my applicable clients the free dining - are you on that list?

Quick - email me your information so that you don't have to sit on hold for hours tomorrow. Let me sit for you and place your package on a courtesy hold for 7 days!

I've been trying to keep up with this thread - wow you guys have been busy!

I already booked POR, garden view for 11/24-11/30. I know I can't get the RO or FD for that time. I am an annual passholder and DVC owner so packages don't work for me anyway. I am wondering though if an AP discount will be offered that week. Anyone have any insight?

BTW I used all of this years points already but feel I NEED another trip!
