Could someone tell me the prices of the dining plans per day? I seem to be having trouble finding the prices on their site and I am trying to figure which deal would be cheaper for me.

As per Joe AOA is excluded from FD this time, not just specific rooms. Just have a backup plan and you should e fine. Good luck tomorrow, we all will need it.

I've also been following this thread like a hawk. All I want is any room at POP for the week of Thanksgiving which I don't think will be a problem but all the hype has me a little nervous. Good luck tomorrow everyone!

I'm in same boat as you. Switching isn't looking good for us either. We are booked at Nemo and my DD6 is so excited. I also am traveling with my DD2 and mother in law. So the fridge/microwave combo and coffee maker are things I need as far as their needs as I considered doing two rooms at POP but I wouldn't get those things. Big bummer for us AOA folks. But for everyone else get your free dining!! It's a good feeling to get that huge discount!!

I am sorry you are stuck in the same boat with us but....it is a boat still going to my "happy place" so no worries here. We are also bringing a close friend who is 19 and she will definitely need her private space so the second bathroom and the extra room works great for us also. Is it your DD's first trip? I hope you have a wonderful time.

It can change depending on the dates or even type of plan you pick. Select the package the way you wanted and basic dining (if mod or higher) or qsdp (if value). Write down the price, then drop dining. The difference is what you would save with FD.

We are in a similiar situation. We have already booked and paid for our stay at POR Royal Guest Room (RGR) with a river view. We have decided that we would be fine with changing the view but we will NOT change the RGR. If there isn't a RGR available with the FD promotion then we are going to stick with our current reservation. DH has said that we have already paid for it so if we get the $700 credit from FD, great, if not, no big deal! Our DDs will LOVE the RGR.

Was waiting to see if anyone called again today, oh well, guess it's a go for tomorrow then.

I've never raced to the phone so was wondering how you guys do it, do you call a few minutes before 7 and then just wait on the line, or do you have to dial it right at 7?

I don't think you really need to be on the phone at 7AM to get a room for FD. I've always called sometime that morning of the offer, and have always gotten the resort I wanted.

Keep in mind, this is a board of Disney-fans, so it is a very small percentage of the people that will be using the FD promotion. I HATE waking up earlier than I need to!

Hi All! We are currently booked at AoA Oct 19th-25th but are hoping to switch to POR tomorrow with the FD promo. My question is if POR fills up quickly due to POFQ being blocked what should be my second choice in your opinions? CBR or POP?

This makes me sad. We are booked at AOA Lion King suite and would have loved any kind of FD and/or discount. My DD6 is just dying to stay there and I promised her that is where we would stay...so no switching for us. Oh well, maybe next time. But, I have been following this thread for the last two weeks and I am very excited for those of you who are able to take advantage of this!!!! Good luck tomorrow everyone.

AoA Suites was our backup if POR books up now looks like we have to choose either ASMu or a deluxe. At least I won't have to worry about ASMu suites filling up because nobody wants to stay there!

Why doesn't anyone want to stay at ASMu? We are booked at AoA for Nov 16-22nd and our 1st choice for tomorrow is POP. I'm trying to decide what our 2nd and 3rd choice will be...ASMu, POR, or CSR. But I'm not seeing any positive things about ASMu. Is it because there's so many other resorts or is it just bad?
