Just called and was told no, she got me all excited though because I asked about it and she asked what my dates were, then she said nothing for that time period yet.

I been goin to Disney 4 last 5
years wish I. Found this board years ago We always payed full rack rate no discounts. Until last year I accidentally ended up with free dining. This year I found the boards And it's so much more exciting. Still have to learn how to get into chat. Trying to get excited for my vacation November Pending a meniscus surgery in two weeks. How often do you guys go to chatpixiedust::joker:

Was waiting to see if anyone called again today, oh well, guess it's a go for tomorrow then.

I've never raced to the phone so was wondering how you guys do it, do you call a few minutes before 7 and then just wait on the line, or do you have to dial it right at 7?

Phones literally don't open til 7 am on the dot.

Does anyone know if this will be bookable on WDW website at 6 in the morning? If so, that might give us an hour jump start on the 7 am phone line openings

Two questions:

1. Can someone please confirm what number we are supposed to call tomorrow? I see quite a few different numbers on the Disney website.

2. Do we have to go through the computer generated prompts and answering tonnes of questions (i.e. last name, street number, postal code, confirm email etc) before we talk to a live person? I called last night for an unrelated question and it took a long time before I actually spoke to a real person. Just curious! :)

Thanks.

1-407-939-7675 is what I call. You have a few prompts but it's quick I think.

EDIT: I always say "special offers and promotions" when I call.

Does anyone know if it all of AOA or just the little mermaid rooms like last year?

As per Joe AOA is excluded from FD this time, not just specific rooms. Just have a backup plan and you should e fine. Good luck tomorrow, we all will need it. :)

Okay, now that we know FD isn't going to be released today I have a little OT question...okay, maybe a couple of OT questions.

I had originally planned to book a room at Pop because I love it and my DH hasn't stayed there yet. We have stayed at ASMU and ASSP several times each, and Movies (which would have been my second choice because we haven't stayed there) is out of the running. What I don't like about the All Stars is the bussing situation. So question #1 is which has a better bussing between Sports and Music? We aren't going to eat at the resort food court, so I don't care that Sport's is closed.

My other thought is to go for CSR if I can't get Pop. The problem is that I really don't have time for a TS meal every day (our flight gets in around 7:30 the first night). Can you use TS credits for CS meals? California Grill is supposed to reopen before our trip, can you go there in decent theme park clothes and not feel under dressed?

We haven't stayed at AOA, ASMO or POFQ - they would be the 3 not included in the discount :( Keeping my fingers crossed for Pop!!

And finally, since we are all just sitting around waiting for tomorrow...did you see that Universal's new "value" priced hotel will not come with Express Pass service? I hope Disney doesn't follow suit and start offering more FP+ services to the deluxe resorts.

The only question I can answer is yes you can use a TS for CS meal. :thumbsup2

Actually... While we were able to do that on our last trip in Oct 2011, I've heard from several people that they are cracking down, and not allowing that as much anymore. Don't understand it, because its in Disney's best interest to allow it, but I'm sure they have some reason behind it... :)

Talked to a CM last night to double check for Pins.. No go but she 'highly recommend' that I call back Thursday morning :)
I don't remember this being so stressful last year! I just called in around noon and that was that!

This makes me sad. We are booked at AOA Lion King suite and would have loved any kind of FD and/or discount. My DD6 is just dying to stay there and I promised her that is where we would stay...so no switching for us. Oh well, maybe next time. But, I have been following this thread for the last two weeks and I am very excited for those of you who are able to take advantage of this!!!! Good luck tomorrow everyone.

I'm in same boat as you. Switching isn't looking good for us either. We are booked at Nemo and my DD6 is so excited. I also am traveling with my DD2 and mother in law. So the fridge/microwave combo and coffee maker are things I need as far as their needs as I considered doing two rooms at POP but I wouldn't get those things. Big bummer for us AOA folks. But for everyone else get your free dining!! It's a good feeling to get that huge discount!!

We are in a similiar situation. We have already booked and paid for our stay at POR Royal Guest Room (RGR) with a river view. We have decided that we would be fine with changing the view but we will NOT change the RGR. If there isn't a RGR available with the FD promotion then we are going to stick with our current reservation. DH has said that we have already paid for it so if we get the $700 credit from FD, great, if not, no big deal! Our DDs will LOVE the RGR.

Good luck to everyone.

For those who replied to my other post about the phone number, thank you. Much appreciated.

I'm so excited that this is looking to really happen! Comforting to see all the CM's hints to people about Thursday morning. I'm calling first thing tomorrow when they start at 7am and hoping for Pop. I'll upgrade from standard to preferred if that's all they have. I guess my second choice is ASMusic...but I'll still ask about ASMovies if I cannot get Pop just in case.

So ready for this to all be done and I can start focusing on the fun! :dance3:
