What type of room? Was that for a family of 5?

I just checked online for a family of 5 (4 adults, 1 younger child for the murphy bed) for your week (11-15 to 11-24), there was no availability for FD. But now the website is lagging when I tried to check for 4 adults only. So maybe all this booking for FD finally broke the website in addition to the phone lines.

I wasn't really going to mention I had the 3yr old if I booked online. That is why I'm trying to get the one with the bunker. I was told the other day that if it was available, I could go that route.

All guests must be registered. Besides it being policy, you have to register him or you can't do EMH. They check everyone's room key, even little kids.

FINALLY GOT THROUGH! CM was very slow and the computer kicked her out twice. I guess I should have booked online last night, but was holding out hope for POR.

106 minutes later... I am finally booked at Coronado Springs! Would have preferred POR but, no discount available on my existing reservation. I saved $737.64 with free dining! Now to research Coronado Springs as I have not looked into this hotel before. Any feedback?

Just did the same thing, the CM said to call back in a few weeks and to keep checking. She said she is amazed as to how many people give up FD rooms. But I don't hold out much hope, we need 2 rooms.

Hope everyone is getting thru quicker now, after a nap I am off to the resort boards to research CS. See y'all over there.

My TA has been on hold since 7. Can't wait to hear she got it!!!! Refuse to think negatively. Did enough of that through the months. LOL

I'm dying to know if you got it! Seems like we've been trying forever so I'm keeping an eye out for yours! I got what I wanted, Pop...so I hope your TA got yours exactly the way you wanted it!

Make sure if you are booking online that you check the resort screen to make sure it is directing you to Free Dining rooms. I was just looking at the options and the site kept sending me to regular rooms even though it was through the Free Dining link.

I switched from POFQ to POP pool view with free Dining (and paid the difference for DDP to keep our ressies) and we saved $1100!! I was NOT about to stay at CBR in a double when I could pay so much less for a double at POP.

FYI, just now finally got my confirmation reservation email from calling and getting the FD! Was starting to get worried So if you haven't gotten yours yet, it's coming

Ok... question regarding the confirmation email I just got:

On my old reservation (I didn't change anything except to add free dining), I had paid a $200 deposit. When I got the current confirmation email with free dining added, it shows I owe the original amount (doesn't reflect that I put down a $200 deposit).

Package total is $2112.83. That is the current amount shown in my confirmation email with the FD package added. It should be $1912.83. I have the same confirmation number as I did when I initially booked last month.

Does all that make sense? I'm a little tired.

yeah, I'm having the same problem...I think we broke the website, cause now I can't even look at any FD offers for several dates/resorts. It wasn't doing this 15 minutes ago.

Oh was going to say, my balance due went up 48 dollars with free dining. She said that was for the taxes, is that correct?

That's what it keeps doing for me too! Ugh!
I definitely think we broke it! LOL! Maybe it will open up all the remaining rooms for FD as a result. Hey, a girl can dream!

1 hr 47 minutes (and 6 months of stalking the boards) later, and we have standard room booked at CSR with FD for 11/16-11/24 . Like many, we hoped for POFQ or POR but there wasn't any availability. We are still thrilled! To put icing on the cake, we scored a BOG reservation for the 21st last night, making our trip complete!!

Thanks to all for the tips, entertainment, and drink recipes . So excited to stop the mad planning for a while!! Good luck everyone!

Btw. ... anyone have any good thoughts to share about CSR? We've never stayed there

CSR is a great resort! The pool and playground (if you have kids) are nice and big! really fun resort. Beautiful grounds and the Bus transportation was awesome.
I had a BOG res on the 21st to but I changed it. (reminder its a MVMCP on that night so tickets are needed)

It says package total, so it's just showing the total and not what is due. Is there a details link on the bottom? If the total is right I wouldn't worry.

after 1 hour and 49 mins I GOT FREE DINING at POR for Dec 14-20!!!

Nothing was avail for the 15-21

But was able to get the 14-21!!!!!!!

We are booked! Will have to cancel my POR reservation later. Couldn't call in with the wait times so made a reservation at CB since POR was more expensive due to the higher level rooms only being available.

Hope we like CB as we have never stayed there. Not too excited about the double beds but I know the kids will love the splash pad/pool from the look of the photos!

Ditto. I'm still on hold on the phone (110 mins so far), but thought I'd try checking online, even though I don't really want to book a second reservation and cancel the first (just makes me nervous because our original reservation is completely paid off). Doesn't matter because I can't get anything for FD to show up online. Still holding!!
