Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!!! (And a whole lot more) ~ Part 3

Well, we got here great, no problem got checked in and to out room (now I know what they mean when they say Coronado Springs is big). This was about 1130 last night.

It had a connecting door to the next room... DW doesn't like that. I know you guys hunt for connecting rooms and I'm trying to not have one

Call the desk and they will call back in a few. After an hour and a couple of calls, get the clerk. She was so apologetic, she had lost the note and had just found it. A magic express had arrived ed right as we did and they got slammed I think.

Anyway, off to the new room. Having the KTTW cards do the doors was slick that they could reassign them to the new room without going back to the desk.

Off to MK and EP today. It was walk on most things (Space Mountain twice, just walk back around, Buzz a couple of times, waited about 35 for Soarin)

Good day, but going too hard like we always do. 9 days of this will kill me

Glad you are having a good time. Maybe you will get to slow down in a few days. I would love to hear about the resort and pepper mart when you get back.

Placed my Garden Grocer order today; nothing left to do except the packing.

do have a couple of FP+ times I would like to tweak if I could.

Can I get everyone's opinion on the best QS restaurants and your favorite dishes there? What about your favorite snacks that are included with the snack credits on the QSDP?

Last year, we ate at Columbia Harbor House, Cosmic Rays, and Casey's. I can't remember where else. We stayed at Give Kids the World so we had a few meals there.

I REAAAAALLLY want to do BoG for lunch but I just don't know if the line is too terribly long if we'll be able to swing it.

We'll be hitting all 4 parks and (probably) DTD. I heard the Earl of Sandwich is pretty good there. We've never been to DTD. Is it worth it with a 4 yr old?

BOG the best time to try is at 4pm. Just before dinner.

IMO the best QS by far is Peco Bills hand down. Maybe just the burger and chili is Awsome, but my entire family fines something they really lille and it not expensive. Huge neatly themed rooms and outside tables too!

as of 9/4/13 90% of the ones at POFQ have been replaced. Hoping between the 2 rooms, we will have at least one working one. The CM I spoke to awhile back listed my sisters room as "medical necessity" and I saw that when I checked us in.

We requested a fridge, but weren't able to get one at POR (Sep 12 - 21). Luckily, we brought a large cooler with us and just kept filling it up with ice while we were there. We got a $15.00/night room credit for not having a working fridge in the room - yay for an extra $135 savings! You do have to request the credit; it is not automatically applied to your bill. We just went to the front desk the night before we left and asked for the credit - didn't have any problems in getting it.

I forgot we ate at Pizza Planet. That one is a MUST DO with DS!!

I haven't checked out any menus since before we went on DS's Wish Trip last year. I need to see if there are any sandwich options other than PB&J. Shockingly, he wouldn't eat the Uncrustables in his kids meals! I've gotten him to eat turkey and cheese sandwiches by making them Star Wars character-shaped. Other than that, he usually eats string cheese and grapes for lunch at school. He'd much rather drink Ovaltine and milk!

They are slowly starting to make their way into all the rooms. People staying in the 50's, 60's and I think 70's are reporting they have new fridges. We're staying in the 80's. So hopefully by the time we go we'll have a fridge. We don't need one for medical reasons....its for saving money on having to buy breakfast every day. I dont think theyll take that as a good enough reason to get one Lol
