Free dining now available on WDW site :)

Price for same deal we have for this year at SSR looking very similar. At work, so can't check exactly what we paid. Wish DH was more sold on the idea!

OKW for 14 nights starting august 23 is 2,902 for 2 people for the studio
or 3,480 for 4 people in the studio
or 4,292 for 4 in the 1 bedroom
or 5,538 for 4 in the 2 bedroom

can 4 adults fit in the studio?

if we were to take two studios, that would be 5,804 for 2 studios with 2 people in each..
that's more than the 2 bedroom...

so obviously, my choice is between getting 1 studio for 4 people, or the 1 BR or the 2 BR

now i have to convert all of those numbers into dollars as i think in dollars not pounds.. :)

booked OKW deluxe studio for october. £500 cheaper for OKW for 17 nights than POR preferred with DDP upgrade no brainer. I'm officially overexcited.

Ha ha well done you win!!! I'm booking tonight when DH gets home. Just doing the math. Might do two rooms at a moderate and upgrade to regular dining. Advantage is two bathrooms and a great food court at POR. However, may do a one bed studio at OKW for the three separate beds or may do the Beach Club for the pool.

Decisions, decisions!!!!!

And only 28 sleeps until our girls only 10 days at AKL :)

They can fit, but they'd have to be real good friends! :rotfl2: It's 2 double beds at OKW so 4 can fit but they'd have to share beds.

i think it's too much money....
on top of that i have to add on the flights..

i think we're going to have to wait until 2018 when all 6 of us can go...
and i'll just put all the money we're saving into the pot for that trip...

it's DH and me and DD and DSIL

we've shared rooms before, but only for 2 or 3 days, never for 2 weeks!!

I'm having a similar issue. I've been voted as best brother/son to book our Disney Trip for next year apparently, problem is it's my sister, BIL, 2 nephews (16 and 6) and mother. Not thinking it's a good idea for my 65 year old mother to share a bed with my 16 year old nephew for 2 weeks! :crowded: Especially, when my nephew is 6'4 already!

Ok, so here's the detail of what I booked

17 nights, OKW deluxe studios, 21 days tickets, DDP for 2 adults and 1 child +10 (DS will be only 7 but since DDP is free and we only pay £20 or so extra for tickets, we signed him up as a 10 years old = adult)

dates are October 14 to October 31st

total price is £3779 and a $200 gift card.

we were set on POR, preferred, but for the same stay with upgrade from QSDP to DDP we were quoted £4272

so it really cost us £493 less to go deluxe instead of moderate and we keep the boat to DTD :p

Ive just worked out the increase from our Aug 2014 holiday to 2015 for YC and its a 7% increase.I hate to say it,even though it sounds a lot we would still probably pay it,the lure is just too great.Who cares that the house is in dire need of decorating :guilty:

Checked against VH and they want £14500 and we paid £9500 including flights lol

What were you thinking of booking- one way round this is to buy a few airbeds from walmart- they slide under the bed out of they in the daytime- we have done that in the past it a lot cheaper than adding an additional bedroom. As long as you don't have more in the accommodation than you book for its fine.

We are booked! Doing 8 nights at AKL in August 2015! Got the free regular dining, park tickets and $200 gift card per room (booked 4 rooms!). SO excited!

So here are my choices so far. We will be two adults and two kids, 16 and 13. All with 14 day tickets and free dining. For the POR price I upgraded to the regular plan. My son wants to go here for the food court but it's too expensive!

Beach Club garden view £4,862

Old Key West one bedroom villa £4,391

Old Key West two bedroom villa £5,715

POR two rooms, one room only and one with the tickets, free QS and upgrade paid to regular dining £6,372. Yikes!!!!!!

This is probably the last time I will get my son to travel with us to WDW so I want it to be a good one. We will either be celebrating or not ;) his GCSE results.

So probably I am choosing between OKW one bedroom and the Beach Club. Advantages to OKW are space and boat to DTD. And space. Plus washing machine. Kitchen a none issue I will not be cooking on holiday!!!! Advantages to Beach Club are the pool and location, location, location. Easy access to fantastic food.

Can. Not. Choose.....!!!!!

I'm 100% in the Yacht and Beach Club corner, mainly because of location, five minute walk BC to EPCOT or 20 minute walk or 10 minute Friendship Boat to HS. It such a relaxing resort with great restaurants around The Boardwalk, in the hotel and with World Showcase so close we think nothing of just nipping in and eating in one of the countries, or bringing something back.SAB is a lovely pool area, where you have plenty room to relax on the lazy river, sit in one of the hot tubs or play volley ball with the kids!

We stayed at both BC and YC and personally prefer YC as it had a quieter more relaxing feel in the lobby and nearly all rooms have a full balcony.

Personally I would go with OKW 1 bedroom, but then again we love OKW and always stay there. There'll be lots of space for all of you and as you mentioned there's the kitchen and laundry facilities. I've just booked again for next year. There'll be 5 adults next year, so we're getting a 2 bedroom! :goodvibes :goodvibes

I priced WDW and VH last night to compare against todays prices and I am glad to see that WDW are actually cheaper than last night on some hotels (not the one I wanted tho!!!)

for example: for 24/10/15 room only 14 nights 2 ad, 11yo, 4yo.

PoP was £1316 last night and now £1050

CBR & CRS were £1932 now £1736

BC was £3948 gv now £3556 gv

POFQ was the same at £2002

Also checked 15/8/15

POP was £1491 now £1210

CBR was £2051 now £1864

BC was £4284 sv now £3908 sv

POFQ the same £2121

The hotel we wanted WL was not reduced!! and last night OKW and SSR only had 2 bed villas at enormous prices, nice to see they released the studios today.
Think we will wait a few weeks and see what happens with the other hotels as CR only has deluxe suites available, crazy price, so they may not have released all the rooms yet?

Virgin Holiday, not going there, stupid prices, POFQ £7647 with DDP and tickets, BC £8654!! Works out about £4000 more (to get flights) than WDW with tickets and DDP, we only paid £2400 for our flights last year, even with a discount from VH I don't think its worth booking with them.

Really hope we can go back next year! if not it will be year after so I better keep hold of these prices to do more comparing!!

Hope everyone gets the deal they want.:yay:

Stupid prices from VH for sure:faint:
Not sure discount applies in August? When we asked last year they said August was blacked out.Of course it is because thats when most families go on holiday:mad:

I’m kinda glad they’re not offering free breakfasts at AoA! Means our food court won’t be *quite* as bad next year in the mornings... :rotfl2:

August is not blacked out and it never is either! We almost always go in August. Easter and December are out though sadly.

Just debating wether to book, just me and DH this time, 30th April next year staying at POR with tix, free QS, and $200 gift card for £2,664, DH says just book it lol! :goodvibes

I like your DH style - I agree, just do it! I'm like over the moon and so relieved since we secured our deal earlier today. Just feels like we can relax a bit more and enjoy the rest of the planning now, without worrying about if we will get free dining or not or if it will be too expensive!
