Can anyone remember if they offered a discount on a MYW package closer to July for August last year? I think they offered $45 off a moderate on a room only last year closer to August but I don't know about a package.

All I recall there was a room only discount that was for the first part of August. I remember that it was listed for several of the Deluxe resorts as it targeted specific resorts. It came out around the middle of June. It seemed like many people were disappointed last summer as they kept holding out for disocunts that didn't materialize.

Got my hopes up at the title of the thread! We're really hoping for the last week in September. I'm still being optimistic in the face of evidence that seems to be mounting to the contrary.

That's the impression I got looking at that. Free Dining but only in certian locations. Does that mean maybe you will only be entitled to CS or choosen TS?

Maybe they are just saying that some locations aren't included (which is always true?) Hopefully it's the same as always, if it does come out!

I just took it to mean that some restaurants in WDW are not on the dining plan, Rainforest for example.

They would have too much of a headache trying to differentiate between free dining plan and regular price dining plan.

I agree with the others, it is probably the traditional dining plan. They offer a "premium dining plan" with access to all of the Disney-operated restaurants and 3 meals per day (instead of the 2), so my best guess is that it is the DDP that we all know and love!

I wonder if they are going to change the package so your dining days, length of stay, and length of ticket are the same. Just a thought. But that is one way to decrease the number of people who just buy one day tickets. I guess we will all have to wait and see.

The way I read, based on the information somone in another thread that stated "the rumor on the internet is not entirely true" received is that it will not be the traditional dining plan. I am just hoping for any early August discount, but not counting on it.

I just got my AAA newsletter yesterday. It had nothing in it about the DDP deal.

Hey we will be there the same as you guys, where are ya staying? We are gonna be at POR (for now)....lol I keep changin my mind between it and ASFM Maybe we'll see ya there!

That is what I would think. "You can go to Beach's n Cream, but not Le Cellier". I can't imagine them changing it in that sense.

But who knows what will happen - I think I'm wasting too much time speculating.

We stay at the Poly. We check in on June 19 and then again on Sept 29.

I think it will be the regular dining plan. They always have to have the disclaimer on the locations.

What site is this? I have gone to the official WDW site to (check) reserve several times and I am not seeing anywhere where it mentions September Magic Your way plus dining. Are we talking the free dining? If so on what site are you seeing this? I can't find it.
