I called to see if this discount would apply to our ressie, which is 12/7-12/14, and I was told that it would not because those are blackout dates (I thought I would try since 12/14 is one of the covered dates). The CM added it up for me and we would have saved $200 if we moved our dates, but we already have MVMCP tix and dining reservations, so it's not worth it to change our dates. The cool thing is they would have applied the free dining even though we already have a 40% room discount!

OMG free dining and a 40% code? that would be incredible! we went for free dining this past august and it made our trip so much more enjoyable!

i am hoping to go again early 2010. keeping my fingers crossed that i can save up enough cash for the family to go...

wonder if there will be great deals like this when i am ready to book

Well I am going during one of the dates. Don't get your hopes up. For 10/10 there was NOTHING avaialble at any price.

OMG another stupid email that I did not get. I am a Disney card holder, AP holder, DVC member and all I ever get is the promo stuff from DVC trying to get us to buy MORE. Unfortunately, it looks like we will not be able to use it since we are going Oct 15-21 which looks like a Blackout period.

I just got back 2 weeks ago from free dining, and I wish I would've known they were going to offer it later into the year. I've never been down to see the holiday decorations and this would have been peeeeeerfect! I can afford to do it, but it's a matter of finding anyone else who could too. I know a lot of people take solo trips and have a great time, but it would be pretty weird for me.

I think you need to buy a regular priced MYW package with a minimum of a 1 day park ticket/ You can save your 1 day ticket for next time you need an annual pass and they will take let you upgrade it to your AP- You will pay the AP cost less 60 or 70 bucks.

Awesome - I just added it to my existing reservation for December 17-22!

Even though we had previously booked with the October-December package, the new rate saved us $337 over what it would have cost to add the dining to the other package.

I think I am the most unlucky person in the world... .I have a Disney Visa (which I use to put the deposit down) for the upcoming trip..I have booked the Mickey Christmas Party (and I hope it is worth the $$$)...I am in Alabama so maybe just maybe I could use the discount Disney just offered.....Do you think I could use one,maybe just one of the discounts?????? NOOOOOO!!! This just bites! My dates are of course BLACKED OUT To make matters more fun...Delta has changed our flight 3 times in the past month....Disney World better appreciate me and what I go through to get there!!!! I have to get back to my "Disney Happy Place": frame of mind....Happy Place.....Happy Place...
