Do Disney ever do free dining in Jan? TIA

No. Free Dining has only been offered from end of August into September. This is typically a slow time at Disney - hurricane season and kids going back to school. I doubt you will ever see Free Dining in January.

I know for a fact Jan 07 & Jan 08 they added park hopper water fun & more for free when you booked a pkg

Jan is a slower time, but not as slow as it used to be.They do run the promo that the PP stated, but never free dining.
