You have to book six nights to get the free dining? Wasn't it a minimum of three or four nights in previous promotions?

no POR rooms for 5 for the week after thanksgiving
I went ahead and cancelled our reservation. Any chance alligator bayou rooms will be offered on Thursday?
No, those quoted nights that appear in the verbage on/in Disney advertising are just used as an example. All free dining promos have a 3 night minimum and a 14 day maximum.I booked from Dec. 10-15 (5 nights) for the FD promotion, did it have to be for 6 nights like the link states? The CM had no problem with my 5 nights...
Thanks!
Okay, the ticket increase price, has got to be wrong. I just called and added a free dining code to a reservation for Royal Rooms that were booked long before the ticket increases and there was no upcharge for the new ticket prices. If some of you are being told that you are having to pay the ticket increase prices that infomation is incorrect. You need to check your confirmation email and see if your confirmation number is still the same. I hope some unknowing/unknowledgeable CM has not cancelled your old reservation and booked you under a new package with the ticket increase prices. Or just maybe add up the numbers and see if the CM thinks you are being charged the increased ticket prices, but you really aren't.
Ever since they started free dining in 2005, I have booked early every year, before the annual ticket prices increased, and later booked a free dining dicount/code and have NEVER had to pay for the new ticket prices.
Something is not right here . . . .
It was booked at full price, no discounts.Just a thought, but I was already booked with a 30% code, and I know I saw others posts that said they were booked with other codes as well before making the switch to free dining. Was the Royal room you got FD for already booked with some other promo or was it at regular prices? Maybe that is why there is a difference.![]()

I'm on hold for a customer service/CM manager and I'm going to ask what the deal is with the ticket increase prices and applying FD codes to an existing reservation. I don't think they can charge you those increases on an existing reservation that was booked before the ticket price increase. I would have to think that it would be a violation of the Truth in Advertising Act, or at the very least a bad customer service move.
Have you received a your confirmation email of your changes? Did your reservation number stay the same?

No one is forcing us to pay increased ticket prices. I am guessing since we had a 30% room discount which is no longer any good, that they are booking a new reservation and confirmation number which now has the increased ticket prices.
I haven't booked with free dining yet so let us know. Thanks!
According to Mousesavers, if you are rebooking a package that was originally booked prior to the 6/3 ticket price increase, you will now have to pay the higher ticket price if you rebook with free dining.
I kept the same confirmation/reservation# when I switched from 30% off to FD this morning, but I think I did pay the new prices.
