Why thank you, I'll be watching! If I'm up in the morning and one hasn't been posted, I'll start one. It should be called "FREE DINING RELEASED- Details Inside" then?

You will have to call. They do not hold a room for you from the FD pool just because you have a rack rate room booked. If they run out of rooms in the promotion at your resort before you call, you will have to either switch resorts or go without FD. Thats why people advise against booking before the discounts come out.
I'm curious about your comment on Memory Maker? Did you find a code somewhere or just the normal pre-booking discount? With every bit of information, I'm getting more confused. Should I just try to book a new res at midnight or six or whenever the offer is released? Or should i just call at seven? I didn't want to book a new res b/c I have the reduced cost of memory maker. It's $20, but still...
Aubrav & I debated this last night . . . many pages ago. No one really knows at this point, but I don't think it looks good for the future of FD and next year. I think if you can swing it this year . . . maybe you should do it . . . after crunching the numbers & deciding if its absolutely the best value for your family vs eg RO discount, off property stay, a cruise, Disneyland?, etc. There is definitely a reduction in value when it gets this stressful, in addition to the ticket add-on requirement. However, I don't know enough to know if it's to make the dining plan continue to work on their side, or to wean the guests off of that discount overall.
Im determined to stay up until at least midnight to keep checking my sitePlease help me pass the time by having a little fun. Tell me:
1) Your first night dinner reservation and why you chose it
2) Your last morning breakfast reservation
3) The reservation you'll be happiest to get (or already got)
4) The reservation youre least happiest about, but got it because it worked into your plans!
And....GO...
In it's most simplistic form... Everyone pays child price for adults. So it's discounted, but not free dining.
It's what the use now at the beginning of the year instead of FD.
I called today too. My button doesn't work, it just refreshes the page. A cast member said if I had trip insurance, DME, or Memory maker it may not let me change. I don't have any of the above. So they sent me to tech support who sent in a ticket so someone can look at itMine does not work and they do not know why or when it will be fixed but it is being looked at. I guess they have not received any other calls regarding this matter.
So child prices for dining and tickets right?

Anyone know how hard it is to modify your stay after it's booked with free dining? I'm debating on number of nights and can't say that I will know for 100% sure by the time this goes live.
Hi there-
Newbie question:
If it releases as suspected and we're able to book online, how does it work?
Is there a promo code I have to enter and if so where do I find it? Or does the dining plan just show as $0 if I'm able to get it for free?
TIA
I got it at the $149 right before they upped the price a few months ago.I'm curious about your comment on Memory Maker? Did you find a code somewhere or just the normal pre-booking discount?
