Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

Travel Agent lines are very busy when it is released. But they will keep the same agent and make all their reservations at one time. However, my agent has booked our trip through an agent website the last two trips. She does this around midnight on the day of release. I usually have my reservation by 2 am. It's really the best solution for us!!!
Does anyone know a very reputable disney travel agent that can be counted on for adding free dining asap? Thanks for the help.

We're staying at POR in a preferred room, so I'm hoping it's not excluded this year. Would it be better to call right at 7am or wait a few hours until the morning frenzy dies down...if POR is included, that is.

We have also had the visa for a long time, and I usually do get the email alert for Free dining....but it's always AFTER the release has already happened. I always get better heads up following the DIS :disrocks:I agree, this is going to be a long week waiting....also I'm wondering if they will release all the dates like last year or if this announcement will only be for like Aug/Sep time frame. My family is waiting to hear about November, so I hope they just let everything out of the bag and let us planners have at it :woohoo:

I would book as you suggested and do the ADRs online and the changing resorts on the phone. The dining reservation phone # is different than the # that you call for ADRs. You know you could call for your room from your land line and use your cell for the ADRs. You would get your dining done while on hold! ;) The # to get an ADR is 407-WDW-DINE. I have switched resorts with ADRs in place before and it's never been a problem. Good luck to you!

Thank you! My sister an I are going together, we will both be one the phone and doing the dinner reservations, so hopefully we won't have too much of an issue.

I'd call right at 7, especially if POR is included and that's what you want.

Hmm...now I'm wondering again if we should book through a travel agent since we will be trying to book 3-4 rooms depending on the resort. It seems like it may be kind of complicated to orchestrate! I would hate to mess it up, but I'm also having control issues in trusting a travel agent. We can be flexible on the resort but not on our dates. Will it really be that hard to book a GP offer ourselves? I'm thinking that calling would be the best route to go if we book it ourselves so that our reservations are linked. Reading some of the PP does make me wonder if a TA gives you an extra advantage. We are definitely waiting to see if FD is for sure coming before we do anything. Maybe we wait until the DV offer comes out and then book with a TA with the hope that they can switch us to FD when the GP offer arrives???

I did a cruise booking thru an agency couldn't handle the lack of control..lol will never use an agent again.

that is what I did. DH, DD, and I will be one ticket package, but my parents are going too under a separate reservation. My ADR window opened this morning so I booked all of our dining reservations for 5 people.
Thank you. So it seems this will work out okay. I'll just book for the seven...that way, if she can't book until the FD comes out....we will have the dining reservations all set.

My 180+ mark is Monday 4/27 too, I plan to start making my ADRS at 6am and by 7am calling in. We are going regardless, just hope POR is included this year. We are booked there and would hate to change it. My kids love that place. This was suppose to be mom and dad only trip but I feel too guilty.

This is what the deal was LAST year. I'm sure it's already been posted, but not recently (This is the recap from the first page of last year's FD thread):

Free Dining 2014 Discussion
  1. Free Dining for 2014 is a go.

    Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    Polynesian Resort
    Wilderness Lodge

Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts ~ Regular Dining Plan Included

    Bay Lake Tower
    Animal Kingdom Villas
    Beach Club Villas
    BoardWalk Villas
    Old Key West Resort
    Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
The Villas at Disneys Wilderness Lodge
    Fort Wilderness Cabins

Some resorts are excluded, such as All Star Movies, Mermaid Rooms at Art of Animation, Port Orleans French Quarter, Port Orleans Riverside, Campsites at Ft. Wilderness, and 3-bedroom villas, and Villas at The Grand Floridian. A 3 night minimum stay (14 night maximum) and two day minimum park ticket is required for each person in the party.

As I've said time and time again, if you want Free Dining, DO NOT book your room before the day it's released. Disney gives Free Dining to fill rooms and if rooms are booked, then it's less likely it will be offered. Booking up resorts is also a good way for that particular resort to be excluded, as we saw in last Fall's Free Dining when an unprecedented number of resorts were not included on the promo. Additionally, the website often opens before the phone lines on release day. The only way to modify an existing reservation is by phone, which means online (new) bookings are getting a head start on rooms you may want.
