thanks so much for posting!!! My reserv. becomes concrete the 29th of July. My Mom just mentioned she'd like to change it maybe. When I called Disney on Sunday, she said sorry you'll miss out on the free dining by changing it. So maybe there is still a chance! Thank you!!!!!!!

Meg&minnie- If it is like the last offer, you can add to existing ressie. I booked in Feb and was able to add free dining when they did the last offer by just calling. It was no problem at all!

Ok now, so IF and this is a HUGE if but I'm thinking about it....IF I were to book a package for 8/18 to 8/22, could I get the free dining and if so does anyone know when you'd have to book that in order to get the free dining or is that just for the Fall season?

Mousesavers says 8/21 through 10/4. so it looks like you would have to move it up a few days!

It is so bizarre that they are offering the same deal, for the SAME DATES, that just ended on July 2! But whatever.

Good luck to anyone who can take advantage of it! It didn't work for us the first time they announced it, and it doesn't work now, either!

I just called today and had to get them to credit mine - they weren't going to do it. The special ended July 19th and you had to make your reservation in starting in June. I made my reservation two days too early - so I told them to cancel my reservation and I was going to reschedule. They fixed it for me. Saved me $700.

My AAA travel agent called me this morning (7/20 - at 10 am), and told me that Disney has told them they are bringing back the free dining promotion. IT IS GOOD FOR THE EXACT SAME DATES - 8/21/05-10/4/05. It should become available for booking Thursday 7/21 or Friday 7/22 - and she wasn't sure how long the offer will last.

The reason? My agent explained it's really slow during that time period, because it is PRIME HURRICANE Season in Florida! Additionally, many airlines are running really cheap airfare specials - such as $99 round trip!

Unfortunately, we have our trip planned for December, so this doesn't do us any good. For those planning a trip during those dates, WOW!

Great thing, but it doesnt work for us We are going the week of Thanksgiving which is one of thier peak times.

But I agree, that is prime hurricane season so they need to get as many people to go there as they can. Hopefully when we go in 2007 for our 10th anniversary they will have that offer since it will be in September.

I just spoke with Disney Reservations....yes it is back.

I was trying to get my parents on the package since they are meeting us for 2 nights during our trip. Unfortunately, the deal is for 3 nights or more, so I will still just have to pay for their meals OOP with the DDE discount (still a decent deal)

But, bottom line is that the free dining plan IS AVAILABLE if you call right now!

anyone know if they are going to bring this promotion back for FL residents? The expiration for FL residents was on July 19th but so far I don't see anything that suggests that it's coming back (the price was lower for the free dining plan package for FL residents).
