Just got back for a 9 night stay. Me, DW, DS (2), DD (5).
Going in I knew had to pay tip (Not even an issue for me) plus if it was CS would have to buy my son's meal. If TS that wasn't a buffet I would also have to pay for his meal.
TS Meals - even when it was buffet, the check can be confusing and depending on which place you eat, it will be different. I almost double tipped at chef mickey. They bring the check which shows the charges with the suggested tip. I tend to tip a little higher. So I write it in. They bring it back to you with the tip amount (And any other extras) and there is still a line for tip and total. I would imagine that some people like me write the tip in again. Look, I'm no idiot. I can certainly figure out most checks, but the way they do it (and I saw it done serveal ways) can be confusing.
PS: The kids meals in general kinds suck. Not every kid eats chicken nuggets, PB&J (uncrustables at that) and hamburgers. They need more variety and healthy options. It's one thing that they eat that once in a while (in my family anyway). There should just be some more options.
