My DD is 10yrs old when we go - so of course she has been allocated the adult menus. I'm worried that this may be a little rich for her and can see there will be a lot on the menus she possibly wont like - would they let her pick from the child's menu if I asked- and just take the credits as an adult. I don't mind them doing this - just want her to enjoy her meals as much as we will.

We did this when my DD was 11. We found it depended on the restaurant. The Disney owned ones were fine, but some like Tutto Italia wouldn't let us (I think the computer systems won't let them!). Buffets were good as she could choose from the kids selection. Sometimes we paid for a childs meal and didn't use her credit, which gave us more credits to use elsewhere!:surfweb:

We found a very similar experience, you just have to ask. Usually making the kids meal into an adult size. i.e. He had 2 pizzas in Norway and 2 churros in Mexico. If they can do it, they will. Surprisingly he found something on the Adult menu almost everywhere.

It tends to be okay at the Disney one's. At Naccoossiss we paid oops for a kids meal, then saved 2 ts. Raglan Road won't allow but Le cellier did.
