Free dining - but not ADR's yet

Well I got free dining for 9/21 - 9/26, but haven't made any dining plans. The problem is that we hadn't planned a return visit this year (went in Sept 28th free dining last year), but when the free dining rumors started I got the bug again. So now we may go, but would have to take the kids out of school for 4 days. REluctant to do that, so this may be why I haven't made any dining plans.

Will I have difficulty getting them if I wait much longer? The most important are: Kona's dinner & breakfast, Ohana's dinner, and something special for my birthday -either Narcossee, Jiko, or Artist Point.

Help me get in the mood to make ADRs.

I think you will have less trouble getting ADR's then you will getting a reservation with free dining. It looks like the mods and value resorts are quickly selling out. Good luck in your decision and with your dining plans.

I'd make them now, if I were you. You can always cancel. Le Cellier is already pretty well booked up (2 days that week were before 4:45 or after 7:45 only). At least make your 'Ohana ADR. I'd think that one would be the toughest. We've never done a 2 credit dinner, so I don't know how popular they are during free DDP.

We also weren't going to go unless they offered free DDP in August, but the lure was too great even with the different dates, so we'll be taking the kids out of school in September/October.

I would definitely make them very soon. I agree, you can always cancel them if you decide not to go but once they are all booked it will be a shame if your free dining trip turns into "eating where we could" trip! I can sort of relate, I am in a quandry about doing the DDP for our October trip. I am going to make the ADR's and if I need to cancel them if we decide not to do the DDP and just do a strictly cs trip. I just figure its easier to book when I know I can rather than stress about adding it and also stress about being able to make the ADR's if I wait too long.

Its very easy to cancel, you give them your phone number and tell them to cancel everything You don't have to give them each ADR number, they just will do it all for you since they will all pop up on the same screen.
