free dining......booking

if I book sept 25th, will all days following be free dining or just until the 27th?

At least that's what we got last year. We were there til the 29th and free dining ended before that date. If you book your trip during that time, you should be good to go if the date extends the free dining offer.

All the days. I booked with the bounce-back promo, and I have the discounted deluxe plan for my whole trip, even though my trip extends past the date the promo ended.

Disney changed their booking system last fall, and any discounts or promos currently available MUST be booked to fall completely within the promo dates, or you are not eligible. I know of several people who booked the bounceback towards the end of the promo last September, and had to check out by September 27, 2008 (last day of the promo) to get the free dining. Be prepared.

I booked the 30% off room bounceback in December. Whenever we booked promotions in the past (rate, free dining) it was good for the full length of stay as long as we checked in before the promo was over. Same was true for seasons - if we started in value season the whole stay was at the value rate.
Not this time - dates of our stay had to fall within promotion dates in order to get the discount.
I'm not sure if this change went into effect when WDW changed the reservation system. Now for example if you check in during value season, your rate will change if you go into another season.

Hopefully this will not be the case for free dining, but as the PP said, I would be prepared just in case.

I had originally booked bounceback, as well - and I was checking out in October (dates didn't work, so I had to cancel). BUT, since then, things have changed. I hope for everyone waiting, that you can extend it - but I don't think it will be possible.

We booked bounceback, and were able to extend it past the 27th to the 28th no problem. Good luck, I hope you get it the whole trip!

We booked "bounce" back free dining last September for ten days, starting September 26th. I called back a few months later after learning that you could have booked 14 days, and added the last 4 days. We check out on October 10th. All free dining. Last year there were differences in available dates depending on which program you booked the free dining under, so things may be different for the general public/visa program if offered. YMMV, but good luck.
