Hello, just a quick question con pin codes. Do you know whether they are also sent to people livng abroad? Or they are just for US residents? I am from Argentina and would also LOVE to get one for next October!

As much as I want the fd offer and I know saying this may be flamed, is there any chance there won't be a free dining offer for September? I hope not. From what I understand, fd came out after 9/11 when tourism tanked. It continued with the lagging economy. The economy is supposedly better. Could it really be???

Not sure where you got that info, but it is incorrect. The dining plans were introduced in 2005, years after 9/11. It may have been partially due to the economy, but offering FD in September is due to hurricane season and schools just starting. The September FD deal is supposed to be released on May 1. CMs have been reporting that they have been scheduled for overtime, so it's definitely coming.

Deals are never officially announced in advance of the date they go live. May 1 will likely be the Visa date.

As long as there is availability under the promotion when you call, they can add it to the reservation.

Well, I'm already booked at Pop Century.. if I update my reservation now to Art of Animation, will that help..? Or is it something they only allow a certain number of FD guest at the Hotel?

If so, should I be worried about it not being available at POP when it comes available?

Changing your reservation now will not really help you. I would just wait until it's released. You will have no trouble getting free dining at POP, but AoA will be much more limited. They only allow a certain number of rooms for each promo at any of the included resorts.

It'll be great when I start calling at 3 am and after over 4 hours of holding they tell me FD availability doesn't start May 1st..

I guess that's the risk you take..

There are some links somewhere on this site that lists all the "current resorts" that will "probably" be offering FD. AoA is often limited or not at all. You might want to check the list first before you move.

depends on the resort. Some resorts are always excluded:

LM rooms at AoA
Campsites at FW
3 BR Villas

2 resorts are often excluded:

POFQ
All Star movies

You should have several choices ready when you call/book.Did you have a particular resort in mind? Some room classes sell out.
