We don't eat 3 TS meals a day-- we eat a breakfast buffet and a signature dinner. And we also liked the 2 snacks per day during food and wine. But doesn't the regular dining plan have 2 snacks now as well?
Ahhh. Those are great ideas.

We looked at the numbers last night and Caribbean Beach with a regular dining plan was the same price as a value resort with an upgrade to the regular dining plan. But at $60/night for all of us, we figured it would be better just to pay out of pocket for any nights we might want table service since it's highly unlikely we'll want it every night. Plus it saves $500![]()
Unless you want to do a split stay with RO the first night.
I feel like my TA thinks I'm nutsI told her about FD tomorrow (we have a Disney Visa) and she said she hasn't heard about it... now I wonder i fI should just book it myself at 7am and transfer it to her after the fact. We HAVE to have POR (we're a family of 5 and can't afford Deluxe) and I don't want to lose out because she doesn't jump on it at 7am exactly

This is our plan.
Do you have to switch rooms?
The more people book ahead, the more fall off the list. It wouldn't surprise me to see All Star Movies in the no-go list as well. The popular ones teeter on the edge anyway. If you have people rushing out to book for free dining before it's official, it's not hard for them to fall off.![]()
I've been chatting back and forth all day with my TA about the promotion. She thinks it's possible POR will be blacked out as well as POFQ. Not a happy thought I know! Anyone have opinions on CBR vs CSR for a backup choice? We have 2 adults, a 13 year old, and a 3 year old.

Thinking now that we have more 'adults' then children in our group that it might be worth it to upgrade to a moderate this year (first year ever to consider that)......just looking at the listed moderates that were covered. Are there specific rooms that are covered? We'd need a junior suite (to sleep 6).
The regular dining plan only comes with 1 snack.
Yes you can ask to be kept in the same room, but there isn't a guarantee you will be. They will try very hard to accommodate you.Someone earlier said that when you check in the first day you can ask to be kept in the same room. It's our first Disney trip so I'm not 100%.
How many snacks a day do most ppl get?
Yes :-/ I was hoping to have my flights before free dining came out. I want to book sat-sun, but am scared Sunday flights will suck and I'll lose FD if I need to change the reservation.
Last year we had the regular dining plan with 1 snack a day and we ended up going to DTD the day we were leaving and getting a bunch of snacks at Goofy's Candy Shop to bring home with us.
