We are going as a family. My son, daughter-in-law, and 2 grands at AoA Family Suite (booked in daughter-in-laws name). And myself, my sister, and niece in a room at POP (booked in my name). We are all linked in MDE. My sister has a Disney Visa card.

If I understand correctly, if my sister pays $200 toward our reservation in my name, we will qualify for the Disney Dining Visa discounts/FD. Two questions.

1) If my sister decides not to go, after we have gotten the Disney Visa discount/FD - what happens to that discount - the $200 would still be paid by her (we would just reimburse her)

2) If my sister also pay $200 (using her Disney Visa) on my daughter-in-laws reservation, will that qualify the reservation under my daughter-in-laws for Visa Discount - since we are linked in MDE? (This is unrelated to the above question)

1. Nothing should happen. The promotion, Lord willing FD, is for everyone, DV or not. It is just that the DV holders possibly get a three to four day booking window that opens prior to the GP. The DV deposit gets you that head start, but if down the road you pay for the rest of the vacation with some other form of payment, that is fine. No worries there.
2. Yes. And if your sister is the one that is calling to add the promo (if it is available for the room type you are wanting), that will make things all the easier. Just make sure whoever is calling has the card number, confirmation numbers, phone numbers, addresses, etc.

If you have already booked with a TA, they are the only ones that can make changes to your reservation. So you would have to wait for them to call and make the changes/additions to your ressie. Make sure that your TA has your 2nd and 3rd choices for resorts, room categories and dates just in case what you have already booked doesn't have availability or is excluded. :surfweb:

Thanks... Can the TA use. DV and get discount? I have the beach club booked; wouldn't mind any of the Epcot resorts. Can't change date... Flights already booked!

Good question. I would think if your TA has your DV card number, there should be no problem with them using it to get the DV early release. Definitely check with your TA :thumbsup2
What is your check in date? Does it fall within the normal dates that have been offered for FD in the past? If so, you should be able to mark that worry off your list :woohoo:
Your open for other resorts; another check off your list ::yes::
I am not familiar with the Beach Club and how popular it is during FD (I am a POP girl :goodvibes ), but you may want to play with your dates on the Disneyworld website, use your dates at all the resorts you would really consider along with Beach Club, just to see if any of the resorts are booked already for your dates (without a promo), that may give you a better idea of resorts you could consider as your backup resorts (if you even need one :thumbsup2) :tinker: pixie dust for you!

She said she can use the DV card (used for deposit) to get early discount... We are checking on 9-17 and out 9-22... Stayed at POR last time and booked weeks after FD was announced. Never got antsy like this... Lol thanks!!

From what I understand the suites were limited but included for late summer FD which was sept. But were excluded fully from the fall FD which was oct-dec dates. I think that's where people are getting confused because AOA suites were included and then excluded in the next FD. I'm in hopes they will be included for FD in nov if offered.. For 2014 and 2015 lol.. Wishful thinking I suppose.

We were going to stay at AOA in a Nemo suite in November 2015 but now my brothers going. He's a single dad, so I want to do it cheap....or as cheap as I can do with Disney. So back to POP it is lol We wanted AOA because my DH and I would get our own room and each of my kids would get their own bed. But...oh well, they can deal with for a week in Disney.

we arrive that day also! I am going crazy waiting for this deal to come out and trying to stay optimistic tat the 27th will be included!:crazy2::hourglass

Our day also!!! Could change it, but REALLY hope we don't have too!!!

Talked my DH into 9 nights with upgraded dining at value instead of 7 at moderate!!! Whoo hoo!!! Now I have two more days to plan! Oh what to do what to do :)

I don't know if it will follow the bounce back offer for FD, but the last day to book it was starting Sept 29. We weren't planning on leaving until Oct 2 but for FD we added a couple of more days and are now booked 9/29-10/12. Ideally when the fall FD comes out we can move our days back to the 2nd again.

I'm hoping Sept's offer goes to the 29th or 30th?
