Does anyone know if you are allowed to do balance transfers from one reservation to another? (The one you are canceling to the new one)

Only if you are going from room only to room only or package to package. If you are going room only to package, or the other way, you have to put a new deposit down on the new one, cancel old one and wait for refund.

The room only and packages are on 2 different systems and can't move $$ between them.

So if I'm switching from a room only discount to a free dining offer will I need to give them a credit card number again? They won't be able to transfer the deposit?

Thinking about this more.... if POR was left out of the offer due to the pre-booking then many panic and move to CSR (leaving very limited space there for GP), is it possible Disney might open POR later for FD? It seems like there are hardly any rooms to even offer to the GP with all these resorts / rooms not being available. Unless of course that is what they are going for.

Now that we know POR is part of the unique(PIN) codes going out I don't think POR will be opened for FD to the GP. I believe it will fill up just fine if everyone has jumped to a different resort. Another example of Disney strategy

Likely. On the one year I can actually book POR. Sad.

Do pin dates ever change. Like if my dates aren't included now, could they be in the next round? I'm trying to stay optimistic and I'm not ready to give up.

Ok, im confused! (Forgive me if this has been asked and answered, havent had time to read all posts yet). BUT, my TA said we couldnt get beach club with the FD offer---had to get boardwalk inn instead. I really want to be at beach or yacht club for the pool. What the ???

Its pretty simple it just means there was no availability left for your resort you wanted for those dates. Disney only has a limited numbers of discounts for each resort and room view. Disney could always release more discounts at a later date but if I were you I would take any discount I could get and use the money saved for something else. The savings are pretty great.

no POR means no trip for us. POR was in our budget as a family of 5 and don't like the idea of 2 rooms at a value. Oh well, better luck next time LOL

You should price out a room only discount at POR, than add tickets and dinning to that and see what you come up with. For us, also a family of five, the cost to buy the QS plan was cheaper than getting it for free at a value with 2 rooms and if we did the regular plan it was only $100 more.

Play around on the site, I was amazed when I realized that.

I asked a similiar question and was told that PINs roll out in waves. So there is still a chance that you could get one at a later date.

Someone from the USA booked through the "Canadian" link and then called in direct to a CM to confirm that it was fine....and they were told it was so I'm sure you're fine too!

I got Beach Club with free dining, maybe it was the dates you wanted?

Anyone still waiting for their confirmation email? All the correct info and changes are in MDE but still looking for that email. Figured I would give it until the morning and then call. Was going to call anyway to put in a location request for CBR... but just wondering if anyone else was still waiting too.

DH just called to cancel our original reservation and they said the money on reservation #1 would appear on reservation #2 in about 24 hours...so if I don't see it there tomorrow afternoon I'm going to give them a call. But by the looks of it it should be alright

A KennythePirate.com article yesterday, and he is almost always right. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen Kenny wrong about anything!

GigiDisneyFreak, it is even worse than originally reported. Not only is the Daisy and Donald meet and Greet at AK, going to be FP+ only, but Minnie at DHS and Pooh and Tigger at EPCOT at UK are both going to be FP+ only meet and greets. This appears to now be confirmed:

Kenny has updated the story on his website to reflect this- yep as I thought earlier if he says it, there is about a 99.9% chance he is right!

Minnie and Pooh and Tigger are also going to be TIER ONE FP+! Absolutely ridiculous!

Where do you see it being specific at all in MDE? Mine just says MYW Pkg + Dining, it doesnt break anything down.

You got the reg dining plan right? That means you have table service meals for the adults and table service for the children (even if over 10) and then quick service meals are combined there arent adult or child. Once the 'child' is over 18 its an adult but listed as a child on a ressie even if u have to pay disney adult prices over 10
