Free Dining 2013

We are thinking of going 9/19'ish-9/25. I have been reading the boards off and on and I'm someone confused. Would we be able to stack the RO and FD? Or is it one or the other??

We are not disney visa holders...so my understanding is that we'd have to wait until the 9th of May to book correct?

I appreciate the help...we are not disney gurus in fact it'd be our first trip as adults!!

Woo Hoo! My travel agent rocks! She had emails to me by 8:30 this morning that all three of my family's reservations now have Free Dining applied!

Oops, also meant to say, we are staying at the Poly, standard view room 9/7-9/15

Amazingly fast hold times this year. I don't think it's going to be crowded at all come September. Usually hold times are more than an hour, this has been quite easy.

I'm sure Thursday when the GP offer comes out it will be a different story - especially with room discounts too

You can NOT stack discounts. Discounts will open for the general public on May 9.

No, it's just one or the other. They mean the phones will be busy because the deal will be available for one or the other, and everyone will be calling, not just FD.

You cannot stack discounts, so you'd have to chose one discount or another. Happy Planning!!

No you can not stack discounts. I meant that there will be people calling for FD reservations and others calling for RO reservations, so I'm sure the call lines will be very busy on Thursday

I called at 7am on the dot this morning and had no wait time on hold. The CM I spoke with was wonderful and when I asked about the free dinining offer she new about it and said she just had to look up the code since I was her first caller of the day. She also said it looked like I got my call in just in time since she now had a lot of calls on hold. I got free dining for Sept 12-Sept 21 in a POR royal room. YAY, I am so excited!!!! Thank you for all the info on the free dining offer!!!!

I had zero wait time the first time I called. Unfortunately, I got a CM who said that there was no free dining, and I didn't know enough to insist that she check again! I had to call back three more times (two were my fault...dang Verizon cell service), but I finally got a CM who knew the deal, and I just got my confirmation email to prove it.

I had a hold in the English speakers line changed to Spanish speakers and got it immediately. CM said it was QS FD for moderate resorts, but when he tried booking the computer did not accept it and he said it was DP was very apologetic and told me it was just released and they do not know all the information and were working just with the information in the computer.

Was hoping for AOA LM. Oh well. Will book As Movies preferred and ask for Toy Story for my DS. I love the AS Movies. Never had much of an issue with bus service.

Slight panic when some of my reservations disappeared from MDE!!!! But they are all back now - pshew!!!!

According to others the LM rooms were not included in the offer.

Don't worry, they hold rooms back for the public dates, so you'll be fine.

The October - December free dining dates have not been released and are not usually released until July, sometimes August.

They were not included. I knew that info was skeptical, as those rooms already had little to no availability without discounts being offered.
