I used to have custom Disney outfits with marching hair bows made for my girls for every day of our trips and one day, a few years ago, they wore THE cutest lime green polka dot outfits with Mickey heads on them and a woman at Wilderness Lodge approached mr and said, "please don't think I'm weird, but do you Dis?" I laughed so hard and said yes, bit asked how did she know. She replied that I had to be a Diser with my girls in those lime green outfits :-)

LOL so cute... sounds adorable.

Aww, poor baby. I'm so sorry about your dog. I lost my childhood dog in my 20s and it was devastating to watch her get old and deteriorate like that.

My son had wanted a dog all his life so we took him to the pound and he found this goofy looking mutt with a big gash scar on his head that was literally past his expiration date (they were past due on putting him down, giving up hope he'd ever be adopted with that scar, but he was 11 months old and so sweet and healthy they were hoping for a miracle).

It was like love at first site for the 2 of them, and they've been joined at the hip ever since. Ben just follows him around, all he wants is to be loved, lol. Ben (the dog) is only 5 yrs old yet, my son is 15 so he'll be an adult hopefully by the time Ben is old. Not that it makes it any easier... I know he's going to be devastated.

Even ugly dogs need love...lol I actually laughed out loud with your past the expiration comment. He looks cute in the picture. Is he a pit bull? My husband BF has 2 of them and they are great dogs. Full of personality....one even smiles on command. It's the funniest, yet creepiest, thing. We love having dogs, we're back to 2, but hate the short life span. They need to live as long as us. We got a puppy shortly after we put our dog down and he is 100% puppy....

I need one of those PINS!!! I am going Halloween week. I didn't even get a VISA offer in email this time.

But I have a question about PINS ... If you get one , does it earmark a discount just for you no matter how many others get one? Or do you still have to jump in it before they sell out?

They are not earmarked for individuals. They will allocate so many room for this pin code discount, just like a GP discount.

I got a PIN for FD most days Aug-Dec and it did say that there were a limited amount of FD offers with the PIN code. So, I assume that means it could still run out. but I'm not completely sure.

Just checked online to see what free dining rooms were still available. POFQ was sold out and POR only had the royal guest rooms available. AOA still had rooms but you could not pick the location. Wondering if they release small amounts of rooms at a time or these resorts were not allotted many rooms for the discount. Glad I booked my POFQ yesterday but shocked that it sold out in one day.

Well let me tell y'all about a trip I had.

I drove into town going way too fast.

Then I got lost along the way.

After getting to the park, I flirted with Minnie and Mickey wasn't happy about it.

I ended up behind bars with some unsavory characters.

I even got bit by a large cat.

At times, I felt like I was carrying the whole world on my shoulders.

But through all that, I still had a great time...cause this is Disney, and its like a dream come true!!!!

Yeah, Ben did luck out, he wouldn't have been around long. It's not that he's ugly, he's cute, he just gets real dumb looks on his face. He's not a very bright dog, lol. He does stupid things. Like he sits by the door and wags his big heavy tail, then turns around and looks at it because he thinks someone is knocking. When no one gets up to answer, he sits there again, bangs again, and turns around again.

He's a pitt/black lab mix. He's got a big gashing scar (healed, lumpy) on top of his skull (he got snagged on something-- a fence or something-- when he was a puppy). He gets looks because of the scar & PB's get a bad reputation, people always ask if he's been in fights.

Ben is actually extremely submissive & well behaved, he does not challenge humans even if you take the food out of his dish while he's eating. In fact when someone broke our window in the middle of the night once Ben didn't bark, he hid under the bed until the police got here. But it's good to have a dog that looks so menacing sitting on the porch and looking out the windows-- his appearance at least gives the illusion that he's a good guard dog.

Just thought it was a little quiet in here. Everyone is sleeping on a Friday afternoon. :confused3

Okay: lets shake it up. We've talked sentimental. So lets talk funny.

Funniest moments at Disney that you still laugh about when you think of them. Here's my top 3 list:

1. One day we separated and my older son was with me; he saw his dad walking into the Animation Studio at HS started running to him like, "Hey, there he is!"

The Snow Queen was standing there in the corner and we hadn't even noticed her. So, in character she yells out, "Don't run! WALK with DIGNITY!"

My son froze in his boots and just looked at her like he was afraid to move. It was so funny.

2. One day I went to do something on my own and when I came back I was just in time to catch my younger son getting down on his knees and bowing before Jafar. I mean, seriously... Jafar is pointing down and my son is like bowing and scraping.

I turn to my husband and say, "I leave him with you for 10 minutes and already he's a minion of evil?"

3. Last year at MNSSHP we sat down to watch Hallowishes in front of the castle. There was of course a big crowd, and we stand up, and my youngest son yells out, "Hey, THERE's Waldo!"

Sure enough across the other side some guy is dressed up as Where's Waldo. But the way he said it was as if he had just solved an age old mystery.

Oh that's too funny.

I bet you wished you had caught some of that on video.

Funniest thing that's happened to me was a few years ago. The Mickey and Minnie topiary on the path to tomorrowlqnd next to the castle. There was a couple up in the flower garden with their arms around them posing for a picture. A cast member came over to them and told them they couldn't be over there in the garden. Without batting an eye, they looked at the CM and said "oh it's ok, we're from Connecticut". The CM looked at me and we both had puzzled looks on our faces....I mean seriously, what did they say that for?

Funny story - we went to Animal Kingdom last year and I absolutely had my heart set on finding Baloo - even wore my Talespin t-shirt. Well, we found him. I'm not sure who was more excited, me or him. He LOVED my shirt. He was with Louie and kept shoving Louie and my DH out of the way so he could give me high fives and hugs! :rotfl:

Eventually, he let Louie and DH in with us as well :thumbsup2

Love that picture....priceless. I love it when they do fun poses like that, instead of the normal arm around pose.

I have a couple of photos of characters hamming it up, I just need to find them. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Yes! The fun poses/candid ones are always the best! Oh I want to share more but I don't want to blow up the thread! Ha ha! :goodvibes
