Oh that's too funny.

I bet you wished you had caught some of that on video.

Funniest thing that's happened to me was a few years ago. The Mickey and Minnie topiary on the path to tomorrowlqnd next to the castle. There was a couple up in the flower garden with their arms around them posing for a picture. A cast member came over to them and told them they couldn't be over there in the garden. Without batting an eye, they looked at the CM and said "oh it's ok, we're from Connecticut". The CM looked at me and we both had puzzled looks on our faces....I mean seriously, what did they say that for?

Didn't you know you can purchase a license in Connecticut that allows you to grope topiary?:lmao:

Edit: I never leave home without it.

I used to have custom Disney outfits with marching hair bows made for my girls for every day of our trips and one day, a few years ago, they wore THE cutest lime green polka dot outfits with Mickey heads on them and a woman at Wilderness Lodge approached mr and said, "please don't think I'm weird, but do you Dis?" I laughed so hard and said yes, bit asked how did she know. She replied that I had to be a Diser with my girls in those lime green outfits :-)

Okay: lets shake it up. We've talked sentimental. So lets talk funny.

Funniest moments at Disney that you still laugh about when you think of them. Here's my top 3 list:

1.
The Snow Queen was standing there in the corner and we hadn't even noticed her. So, in character she yells out, "Don't run! WALK with DIGNITY!"

2.
I turn to my husband and say, "I leave him with you for 10 minutes and already he's a minion of evil?"

3.
Sure enough across the other side some guy is dressed up as Where's Waldo. But the way he said it was as if he had just solved an age old mystery.

:lmao:

This story covers BOTH those quotes:
In '07 I was getting giddy with all my Dis'ers sightings, and I see this family all with lime green mickey custom shirts, so I get brave and go over and start asking them if they Dis...only to be met with confused blank stares.
Not only did they NOT DIS...they didn't speak English.
Had to brush off my rudimentary Spanish and cover up my faux pas with a comment about their "bien ropa verde." LOL
Can't blame a girl for trying.

Some other funnies, now family traditions:
[All courtesy of my ds almost 14 who was 4 at the time of our first trip.]
We were approaching Epcot on the bus, and he sees S.Earth and says really loudly "HEY...there's the Hockey Ball at Apricot!!!"
Then at MK he wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel of Progress, and get the signatures of "Pokey Nose and the guy that fixes him."
To this day we still use those names for Carousel and Pinocchio/Geppeto.

The other funny one is we were waiting in line to board Soarin, and during the pre-flight video, featuring Patrick Warburton, the guy in front of us says to his wife "Hey, isn't that the waiter we had last night? Now, whenever we see Patrick Warburton on tv, my kids say "Hey, isn't that our waiter?" LOL

Sorry to interrupt the merriment with a FD question, but any word on other resorts besides POFQ being sold out on the FD Pin they sent out last night? I've been trying to get on all afternoon to price my options and book and their site has been down the whole time! Just want to have my backups ready. Thanks!

I think it depends on the days and the room type. Sometimes moving your dates one day can make rooms appear.
AoA seems to be slim pickens, and some room types at POR.
Don't know particulars about deluxes.

LOL... that's funny.

Yeah, its the moments you don't expect that are always funniest.

Eventually, he let Louie and DH in with us as well :thumbsup2

That's great. I love that!

Now do you have to prove CT residency for that? Because I imagine that would come in totally handy... with that and an unlimited supply of Duck Tape I could probably rule the world.

Thanks so much! Finally realized the mobile site is working so went that route and POFQ is still available for my dates!

The disney websites being down is cramping my style. I just wanted to tweak an ADR...just a little. I don't have time to call and deal with waiting with all the other people who can't use the website today. :sad2:

The mobile site is working! A little more tedious but up and running!

Yeah, Ben did luck out, he wouldn't have been around long. It's not that he's ugly, he's cute, he just gets real dumb looks on his face. He's not a very bright dog, lol. He does stupid things. Like he sits by the door and wags his big heavy tail, then turns around and looks at it because he thinks someone is knocking. When no one gets up to answer, he sits there again, bangs again, and turns around again.

He's a pitt/black lab mix. He's got a big gashing scar (healed, lumpy) on top of his skull (he got snagged on something-- a fence or something-- when he was a puppy). He gets looks because of the scar & PB's get a bad reputation, people always ask if he's been in fights.

Ben is actually extremely submissive & well behaved, he does not challenge humans even if you take the food out of his dish while he's eating. In fact when someone broke our window in the middle of the night once Ben didn't bark, he hid under the bed until the police got here. But it's good to have a dog that looks so menacing sitting on the porch and looking out the windows-- his appearance at least gives the illusion that he's a good guard dog.

It all depends on how they're raised...I like pitbulls. That's funny though with him banging the floor and barking. My puppy is dumb too. He's part Australian cattle dog and part lab. I can't tell you how many times hrs smacked his head on the corner of the wall running and how many times my 18 yr old cat has kicked his butt. You would think he'd learn lol

Hi All! Just wanted to let you know that mousemisers.com has an article out today with great suggestions on how to increase your chances of getting a pin code sent to you from WDW.;)

Aww, poor doggie head. LOL. Yeah, sometimes they don't learn from their mistakes. You have to laugh.

Those dogs have to be careful of cats; cats are tough when you get them mad.
