For those of you going in Sept and doing MNSSHP, what do you dress your kids in? My son wants to be something that has him covered head to toe! That will be great in Ohio in Oct but not Sept in Florida. Any suggestions?

My DGD is going to dress up as Sleeping Beauty. I'm making the queen costume for my DD, King Stefan costume for DSIL & Flora for myself. I modified the queen & Flora costumes to have short sleeves instead of long & chose lightweight cotton fabric to help decrease the "OMG it's HOT" factor. (I have a really nice Malificent costume already, but it's made of velour so .. yeah, that's why I'm making new costumes.)
Are there any modifications you can make to DS costume or pieces to take off so he won't be too hot? Other than that or convincing him to choose different costume, I would suggest having a t-shirt for him to change into if he gets too hot.

Confirmed; I just tried with my PIN and nothing was available either. This seems to be true with many of the dates and I really do not understand why they would keep sending PINs out, at this point they are virtually worthless to most people. Hopefully they will just forget about the PINs and go directly to Visa/GP free dining.

We received PIN on May 15 and by the time we booked last week for Dec 4-15, there was no availability at any Values and only the cabins left in Moderate. I am excited about the cabins but really what is the point of offering so many PINs if people can't use them.

Pop Warner starts Dec 7, they are taking a lot of value & moderate rooms. That's why the offer is not good for arrivals from Dec 5 to Dec 14. Your dates are right in the middle of that.

Has anyone researched how often in the past Disney has released free dining to the public for the same dates as pin codes?

Keep in mind that mousesavers only lists the general timeframe of the discounts and their release dates. While it is good to see when deals are historically released, it is not a good predictor of which dates will be covered because they do not include the blackout dates in their info.

I totally agree. We are going in October as well. We don't have too much left to pay. However, we are hoping for some type of promotion. I don't want to wait for my money to be returned to me. I rather have it in my pocket until I know that I have to give it away. LOL

Oh, did you purchase a DP in hopes that'll you'll get it for free? I didn't get one, if I don't get FD I'm not going to do a DP.

Pop Warner starts Dec 7, they are taking a lot of value & moderate rooms. That's why the offer is not good for arrivals from Dec 5 to Dec 14. Your dates are right in the middle of that.

Awww, poop on a stick...what's 'Pop Warner' and how does that affect park attendance? I'm checking in on the 4th, in hopes of snagging the 'check in last day, get that promo for up to 14 days after, for your stay' FD.

I usually go every other year and the last was 2011 but I have not gotten this pin. Disney destinations has been emailing me that dam three diget code but not the free dining pin. I would rather it go to the gp because it seems there's very little availability left unless you switch resort's or upgrade to garden view or royle room.

Last year we had FD at POR and had to upgrade to a garden view. Standard view was not offered with FD.

There are no concrete rumors on ANY public discount. Surely something will come out, and I have NEVER seen FD get released without there being a room only discount released for the same time period, so I think you are safe to assume there will be a room only. Unless you are within the very busy blackout dates.
