LOL< I just realized that your user id said slower lower.....only in Delaware ;)
Our updates on our phone rang through and just read "Seek shelter now! Tornado eminent" Or something to that extent....
Haha only DE ppl seem to get it. I wore the turtle shirt to Disney once and ran across a family from Wilmington. They cracked up. Next day ran into them wearing a shirt I got from the fair that said something about DE girls. Every time they passed they yelled out Diamond! Lol
Holy cow I think I'd freak if we had that message lol.
We are getting the start of this new storm. Weather alert said stay indoors...duh haha

We called today on the reservation line. I made my hubby call this time thinking maybe he had better luck haha. They checked our accts for pin codes and there weren't any. The CM said that we should check back everyday because he said "they're being sent out like crazy." We just don't have the luck right now. Keeping my fingers crossed it happens soon though. I want to go ahead and buy our MNSSHP tickets, but I want to make sure we don't have to change our reservation first. Anyone else call today?

Storm just hit here - right at time I'm supposed to leave work. Hmm - to go ahead & leave now or wait till storm passes? :confused3 That is the question!

What phone number do you use when checking to see if you have a code? I usually use the 407- wdisney but was wondering if there was a more direct way.

AMC - my father inlaw is the worst!! He does know everyone lol The man can't go anywhere without running into 50 ppl he knows.

Sylk - be safe!! It is in an odd spot. Was hard when I started to head home then got really sunny. now it's dark.

I have been trying every trick in the book to get a pin for fall free dining and calling asking about the pin code alot. I called last night (again) and asked if I had a pin code (again) and was told no. As a passing comment I told the CM I was disappointed and would book right now if I had free dining. She asked when I wanted to travel and I told her Dec 1 thru Dec 7. She said "Well I can offer you free dining for those dates":yay: :santa:

Lesson - even if they say you don't have a pin, ask if they can offer anything.

Didn't get where I wanted since the choices were very limited so I just went with AS Music. I have stayed at Pop three times and have always liked it. Hope we like AS Music.

***Jaw Drop***...Wow!

I am going to try this tomorrow night. It's my Birthday tomorrow and I'm going to hope for some special pixie dust. Probably won't work but what the heck, not going to hurt LOL!

Congrats on getting your PIN. I've never said it as clear as that, but I've said we were waiting for free dining to book. Glad someone got some Disney Magic :)

Hi Debbie! Just curious about the reviews for BOG. We are going there our last night too. Getting that ADR was just kind of an afterthought; the CM asked if I wanted her to try BOG and I said, why not, and there happened to be one left for our entire stay! It was for 6:30, so I took it.;)

Here is the review of the Be Our Guest Restaurant from another blog I follow....

Eating dinner at Be Our Guest

Well, I guess everything can’t be magical so now let’s dive into this one.

This is probably THE hardest dining reservation to get in all of Disney World since it’s the newest restaurant in a new section of Magic Kingdom.

I had lunch there two times previously and loved it. It’s still my favorite Quick Service in the parks (Wolfgang Puck Express is another favorite but it’s in Downtown Disney) but I’m afraid dinner was a different story.

Checking in is fairly easy although they won’t let you check in more than 15 minutes early (some restaurants will allow it, others won’t). You’re given a buzzer and asked to be on the bridge in front of the restaurant. Once it’s your turn, your buzzer goes off and you are escorted in to your table.

We were seated in the West Wing which was pretty interesting for our family but would probably be too intense for small children. There is frequent thunder and lightning plus it’s dark which could scare little ones.

It’s also the room with the rose with petals falling and the portrait of the Prince with slashes through it.
The Beast does come by periodically but it’s very brief and really only to let you know that you can go visit him in his own room which has PhotoPass photographers set up.

We eventually ordered our drinks and food. Our daughter is a vegetarian and only had 1 entree to choose from and when it arrived, she really didn’t like it. I tasted it to see for myself and it was really bad. Strong, unpleasant flavors.

She asked the waitress if she could just get a side of the mac and cheese that some of us had on our plates. Even that was so rich that each of us could only eat a bit (and we love mac and cheese – I ordered it a couple of other places during our trip with good results).

So we knew that some of the food didn’t taste great and then we weren’t happy with our service. Glasses didn’t stay filled, we waited a long time to see our waitress just to ask about things like dessert and we got a lot of attitude from her.

Part of that attitude was when I told her we were celebrating our daughter and her boyfriend’s graduation and I wondered if they could get The Grey Stuff. The Grey Stuff is a dollop of creamy stuff that tastes like cookies and cream and it’s only available for special celebrations.

Our waitress reluctantly said she’d see what she could do and then brought them 1 dollop of The Grey Stuff to share. It’s very, very small as it is and now they have to share it? How generous.
Based on some opinions I’ve heard from other people, service is very hit or miss here and vegetarians often end up the most disappointed due to the lack of options.

Would I suggest eating here for your trip? I will continue to recommend Be Our Guest for lunch but not for dinner. Considering how difficult the reservation is to get and the inconsistency in the service, I don’t think it’s worth it.

I'm glad we're doing a lunch there. Dinner doesn't sound very promising. Does anybody know the average wait for cs there?

I read that review. Like any review, it's subjective. BOG was hands down the best service we have ever had at a Disney restaurant in.. oh I'd say about 75 Disney table service meals. Now the food? It was ok. Not fabulous, and not bad. Just good. But that's the best I can say for most TS restaurants. The atmosphere was beautiful and our server was attentive, knowledgable, gave us all kinds of interesting tidbits and facts about the restaurant. It was really enjoyable.
DD is also a vegetarian and liked her entree. She did make the mistake of having the french onion soup however, which was a bad idea since she is lactose intolerant and it was full of cheese. Even the pre-meal dose of lactaid didn't save her from the all night stomach ache.
I think it's something everyone should try for themselves once. I love that you can still go and experience the restaurant for lunch if you can't get a dinner reservation.:)

Thank you for this response... that makes me feel much better! I was very lucky and did get a reservation during our trip. I'm so glad to hear that you had a good (well other than the tummy ache) time. Thanks!!

Thanks Pluto for linking my thread. I am technology challenged.

Thanks Debbie for posting that review, and thank you too,Pigletto for sharing your experience. Pigletto, what time of year did you go? And I wonder when the reviewer went. September is less busy, so possibly that would mean better service. We are very food adventurous family, but French is our least favorite. I just wanted to go there for the ambience and the experience, ok, mostly to have a glass of wine in the Magic Kingdom! Lol...Hmmmm... What to do? Really, tell me what I should do.

Hi
The reviewer just got back home in the last couple of days, you can find her at wdwprepschool.com she has wonderful wonderful tips and ideas. I don't know what I'm going to do either.... I think that I'll keep looking for reviews. I really want to eat inside that place, but I too would say that I don't enjoy French food... good night!!

I must have missed that review. I love her idea about the binder and I think I am going to make one-hers is really cute!:lovestruc

I most likely will keep it for the cute and curious factor. After each kid, my standards for dining have greatly decreased:laughing: and I have never had a bad food or service experience, ever, at WDW. Most likely because I always travel during less busy times.
My only concern is that our ADR is on a Friday night (6:30) right before MNSSHP. I have been told that as soon as you are finished eating, CM's literally whisk you away to the front gate (can't even stop for bathroom). Does this mean we are going to be rushed through dinner and not allowed to linger inside and take a look at the place, meet the Beast??:confused3
